Description and specifications
- This is a monitoring controller for Victron electrical systems.
- It monitors and controls locally on the Color Control GX itself.
- Reading, monitoring and parameter setting can be done from the free VRM website.
- Features a customisable start/stop system.
- You can configure the state of charge, voltage, load, off-peak times and monthly test runs.
- Once connected to the internet all data is sent to the VRM.
- If there is no internet connection, it will store the data for 48 hours.
- Allows a micro SD card or USB memory stick to increase data storage capacity.
- Data can be converted offline with the Victron Connect App.
- Internet connection can be made with an Ethernet cable via wifi.
- Updates automatically if a software version is available (when connected to the internet).
- It has an integrated Linux Venus OS operating system.
- Modbus-TCP can be used to control electrical systems connected to the Color Control GX.
- To obtain data from the VRM Portal, the VRM JSON API can be used.
- The voltage range of the power supply is 8 - 70 Vdc.
- The current consumption is given as follows:
- 12 Vdc will draw a maximum of 245 mA with the display at full current.
- 24 Vdc will draw a maximum of 125 mA with the display at full current.
