Product description:

  • This is a battery management system.
  • It is designed to interface with one or more 12.8V or 25.6V Lithium Battery Smart (LiFePO₄ or LFP) batteries from Victron Energy.
  • Protects in electrical systems with inverters or Victron inverter/chargers that have VE.Bus communication.
  • Monitors and protects against overvoltage and undervoltage on individual cells.
  • In addition, it protects against very high or very low temperatures.
  • According to the battery status, the BMS:
    • Will emit a pre-alarm signal, warning of impending undervoltage in the cell.
    • Disable inverter or inverter/charger investment.
    • It will also disable other loads via the "load disconnect" terminal in case of undervoltage.
  • Suitable for systems without GX device.
  • Operating voltage range is 9 to 70 Vdc.
    • Protects 12, 24 and 48 V systems.
  • Connects to inverters via standard RJ45 UTP cable.
  • Switches to free-float stage if there are cells that will have a low voltage.
    • By default, 3.1 V per cell.
    • This is adjustable at the battery between 2.85V and 3.15V per cell.
    • Maximum current of 2 A.
  • With LED indicators.
    • Blue for active VE.Bus products.
