Product details - Under sink water filter system HIP DUO Ultra Purify with zeolite anti limescale filter and tap
- Under sink system: The HIP DUO system uses Ultra Purify technology with zeolite and two filter compartments. It is installed discreetly beneath the kitchen worktop, providing convenient access to filtered water.
- Complete anti limescale pack: Includes a Ceramicarb water filter and an Anti Limescale filter. It is especially suitable for hard water areas, as the second filter contains mineral deposit inhibitors and granular activated carbon that work together to help prevent calcium and magnesium build-up, which causes limescale.
- Four stage Ceramicarb filter: Four filtration stages are integrated into a single cartridge. Natural ultrafiltration ceramic with a porous structure of 0.2 microns retains suspended particles, cloudiness, cysts, sediment and mould; bactericidal silver provides antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and disinfectant properties; the solid, high density activated carbon block retains heavy metals, chlorine, medicines, phenols and hydrocarbons; and limescale-reducing beads help reduce magnesium and calcium levels.
- Filtration performance: Filters up to 99.99% of impurities, according to the manufacturer's specifications. Filtered water can be used for drinking, cooking and washing fruit and vegetables, subject to the quality of the incoming water and proper system maintenance.
- Ceramicarb filter life: Lasts 6 to 12 months or 2,400 litres. The stated lifespan may vary depending on the quality and hardness of the incoming water and the volume used.
- Flow rate: Approximately 300 litres per hour. Filtered water flows directly from the included tap, with no electrical power supply required.
- Operating pressure: Works with mains water pressure, requiring a minimum pressure of 1.5 bar and a standard supply range of 2.5 to 5 bar. The system uses the pressure available in the household plumbing to circulate the water.
- Water connections: PushFit connections measure 3/8 inch. Quick connections and integrated brackets simplify installation beneath the worktop.
- Included tap kit: A single way tap is included to complete the installation and supply filtered water from a separate point on the worktop. The system is designed to provide convenient access to treated water while keeping the filters hidden.
- Materials: Made from food grade plastic in accordance with the European standards and requirements stated by the manufacturer. The design is intended for installation in the kitchen cupboard beneath the worktop.
- Warranty: A 10 year warranty is offered for equipment manufactured under the Doctor Agua brand. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer and is subject to its terms and conditions.
- Certification: NSF certification is stated for the filter candles and filtration performance. NSF is an organisation that develops standards and verifies requirements for water treatment products; this claim applies only to the items expressly specified by the manufacturer.
- Pack contents: HIP DUO under sink water treatment system, one Anti Limescale filter, one Ceramicarb water filter and a tap kit to complete the installation.
