Tectonite is made of a synthetic material with the same name. It is made of SMC (Sheet Molding Compound), a material frequently used and proven in large industries such as the automotive industry.

The addition of glass yarns in the composition of this material ensures its durability and strength when used in the kitchen. It is 100% recyclable. It resists high temperatures (up to 300°C for short periods), keeps dirt away by preventing it from sticking, resists scratches and knocks, withstands chemicals and detergents used in the kitchen.
