- Aroma and appearance: Warm spicy sweet aroma with a yellow to light brown colour when obtained from leaves and twigs.
- Properties and traditional uses: Calming with strong antiseptic properties, and when used in an oil burner it is said to help with colds and bronchitis and to relieve low mood.
- Bath and massage applications: Used in bath water or blended with a carrier oil to help bronchitis, diarrhoea, chills, infections, flu, rheumatism and arthritis.
