- Chemical composition: Anhydrous sodium hydroxide with a purity of 98 to 99%, supplied as flakes or granulated pearls for easier handling and dosing.
- Main uses: Ideal for raising the pH of swimming pools, unblocking drains and stripping paint from surfaces, providing effective deep cleaning.
- Material compatibility: Does not damage ceramic materials, stainless steel or iron, allowing safe use on various surfaces without the risk of corrosion to these materials.
- How to unblock drains: Pour the product directly into the drain and then add water to aid dissolution and its unblocking action.
- How to strip paint: Apply one or two coats of a solution prepared with 150 to 200 grams of caustic soda per litre of water, preferably hot water. Leave it to work for a few minutes and repeat if necessary, increasing the concentration.
- Safety measures: The product generates heat when dissolved in water; gloves, eye and face protection and suitable clothing are recommended to prevent burns or irritation.
- Specific precautions: Corrosive to aluminium, copper and brass alloys, so contact with these metals must be avoided.
