Safety warnings and precautions

Key risks

  • Unit falling due to inadequate fixings or an unsuitable wall, posing a risk of injury and damage.
  • Breakage of the mirror or glass shelves, which may cause cuts.
  • Finger trapping in hinges or sliding doors.
  • Electrical hazard in models with lighting or sockets, especially in damp environments or if handled while the mains power is connected.
  • Overloading of shelves or doors may cause deformation, detachment, or the unit to tip over.
  • Impacts when opening doors in confined spaces or against taps, sockets and walls.
  • Falls from climbing on or leaning on the unit to reach high shelves.
  • Deterioration due to condensation and the use of harsh cleaning products that damage the mirror, edges and fittings.

Safe use

  • Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, verifying the wall type and using fixings suitable for the material (brick, concrete, plasterboard, etc.).
  • Check for level and ensure safe clearances from taps, sockets and doors to avoid impacts when opening.
  • If the model includes electrical components, isolate the power before any connection and keep them away from water jets; avoid handling with wet hands.
  • Do not overload: respect the stated load capacity, distribute weight, and place heavier items on lower shelves.
  • Open and close the doors gently, keeping fingers clear of hinges and runners; do not hang from or apply weight to the doors.
  • To reach high shelves, use a stable step stool; do not climb on or lean on the unit.
  • Use only compatible lamps and consumables of the recommended wattage; do not cover any ventilation slots of the lighting system.
  • Wipe away splashes and condensation after showering and ventilate the bathroom to reduce moisture on the mirror and fittings.
  • Periodically check that fixings, hinges and shelf supports are secure.

Storage and maintenance

  • Before installation, keep the product in its packaging, in a dry place and protected from impacts; avoid resting it on edges and do not place weight on top.
  • Clean the mirror and unit with a soft cloth and neutral cleaners; avoid abrasives, scouring pads, ammonia, bleach or solvents.
  • Apply cleaners to the cloth, not directly to the mirror edges, hinges or electrical components.
  • Dry after cleaning to protect edges, fittings and metal areas against corrosion.
  • Retighten screws and adjust hinges if they become misaligned; replace shelf supports if they show play or wear.
  • Replace damaged parts immediately (cracked mirror, chipped shelves, faulty lights) and do not use the unit until repaired.
  • On models with electrical components, isolate the power before maintenance or when changing lamps/consumables.

Usage restrictions

  • Intended for indoor, domestic use; not suitable for outdoor use or for areas with direct and continuous exposure to water jets (inside showers or baths).
  • Do not modify the product or drill the unit or mirror to add accessories not intended.
  • Do not use as a step, seat or anchoring point for hanging or leaning.
  • Do not hang towels or other weights on the doors or handles.
  • Keep potentially hazardous products (medicines, blades, chemicals) out of the reach of children; close the unit after use.
  • Installation and any electrical connection must be carried out by qualified personnel.
  • Do not use the unit if it is loose, unstable, or if the mirror shows visible damage.
