Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Burns from water that is too hot, especially on sensitive areas.
- High-pressure water spraying towards the face or eyes if opened abruptly.
- Slips caused by puddles and splashes on the bathroom floor.
- Leaks from loose connections or deteriorated flexible hoses that may cause water damage.
- Breakage due to impacts, forcing the handle, or freezing, with a risk of sudden leakage.
Safe use
- Before directing the stream onto your body, open gradually and check the temperature with your hand.
- Start by pointing the water outlet towards the drain to avoid unexpected splashes.
- Adjust the temperature gradually and avoid prolonged extreme settings.
- Operate the handle without forcing it; do not use the tap for support or hang heavy objects from it.
- Wipe up splashes on the floor immediately to prevent falls.
- After installation or any intervention, visually check that there are no drips or seepage.
- If your model includes temperature/flow stops or limiters, set and use them.
- In homes with children or people with reduced heat sensitivity, use moderate temperatures and supervision during use.
Storage and maintenance
- If not installed, store the tap in a dry place, protected from dust and impacts; keep seals and small parts in their bag.
- Clean the finish with a soft cloth and mild soapy water; avoid scouring pads and abrasive products, acids, bleach, ammonia or solvents.
- Periodically remove and clean the aerator or filter to remove limescale and maintain a steady flow; screw it back on without forcing and check that it does not drip.
- Periodically check the flexible hoses and joints under the basin; replace them if you notice cracks, bulging, rust or persistent dampness.
- In case of drips or leaks, close the shut-off valves and resolve the cause before using the tap again.
- In unheated rooms or where there is a risk of frost, prevent freezing by maintaining a stable temperature or by shutting off and draining the system.
Restrictions on use
- Intended use: supply of domestic water in a bidet; do not use for chemicals, salt water or other liquids.
- Do not modify the tap or its components, or fit incompatible parts.
- Do not attach accessories to the spout that obstruct the outlet or dangerously increase pressure.
- Do not use if it shows cracks, excessive play, loose parts or visible corrosion.
- Keep small parts, tools and packaging out of the reach of children during installation; the tap is not a toy.
- Installation and repairs must be carried out by a competent person with plumbing knowledge; always shut off the water supply before working on the tap.
