Usage Warnings

Tumblers and Toothbrush Holders

Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Breakage of glass/ceramic tumblers or toothbrush holders with a risk of cuts.
  • Wall-mounted holder falling due to poor fixing, with possible injury or damage to the basin and floor.
  • Build-up of stagnant water that encourages mould and bad odours.
  • Spills that can leave the floor slippery around the basin.
  • Detachment of small parts (screws, trim caps) posing a risk to young children.
  • Cracking or scalds from pouring very hot liquids into some tumblers.
  • Deterioration or discolouration due to the use of harsh cleaners.

Safe use

  • Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and check it is firmly secured before use.
  • Position the holder at a comfortable height and away from edges to reduce knocks and falls.
  • Do not overload: use it only for toothbrushes and light accessories; do not hang towels on it or lean on it.
  • Use the tumbler with lukewarm liquids and avoid sudden temperature changes or pouring boiling water.
  • Hold the tumbler with dry hands and avoid handling it if it is wet on the outside.
  • Remove and replace any part that is cracked, chipped or has sharp edges.
  • For adhesive or suction-cup models, place them on a clean, dry surface and wait the indicated fixing time before adding any load.

Storage and maintenance

  • Empty out water after each use and allow the tumbler to drain; dry it to reduce moisture and bad odours.
  • Clean regularly using warm water and mild soap; avoid abrasive scourers and concentrated bleaches.
  • Dry metal parts after cleaning to minimise corrosion.
  • Periodically check screws, fixings, adhesives or suction cups and tighten or replace them if they are loose or deteriorated.
  • Avoid impacts and drops; do not stack glass tumblers without protection.
  • Keep the bathroom ventilated to reduce condensation and the growth of mould.
  • If moving or dismantling, protect with cushioning material to prevent breakage and cuts.

Usage restrictions

  • Not a toy: keep out of reach of young children, especially glass models or those with small parts; use under supervision in households with children.
  • Do not use as a step, grab handle or support.
  • Do not use if the fixing is loose or if there are cracks, chips or detached parts.
  • Do not store strong chemicals or solvents in the tumbler, or mix cleaners.
  • Do not install on unstable surfaces or on permanently damp surfaces where a secure adhesion cannot be achieved.
  • Do not expose for prolonged periods to intense heat sources or frost that may deform or crack the material.
