Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Tipping of the unit due to unevenly distributed weight, an uneven floor, or climbing or hanging from it.
  • Finger trapping in hinges, drawer runners and sliding door tracks.
  • Breakage of mirrors or glass panels with a risk of cuts.
  • Shelves or rails falling if overloaded or not properly fitted.
  • Detachment or instability if not correctly anchored to the wall where required.
  • Trips or impacts with open drawers, shoe racks or doors.
  • Damage from humidity and lack of ventilation that may affect the unit and garments.
  • Risk of overheating if internal light fittings are covered or inappropriate light sources are used.
  • Injuries during assembly due to heavy parts and the use of tools.

Safe use

  • Assemble following the instructions; use two people for heavy or large units.
  • Use the supplied hardware and anchor to the wall with anti-tip devices where indicated; check stability before loading.
  • Level using the feet or suitable shims if the floor is not perfectly flat.
  • Distribute the load: heavy items low down and lighter ones on higher shelves; observe the stated maximum loads.
  • Hang clothing evenly on the rails to prevent bending and items falling.
  • Open and close doors and drawers slowly; avoid opening several drawers at the same time.
  • Keep tracks and runners clean; do not force if it jams; check the adjustment before continuing to use it.
  • If lighting is included, use compatible components, do not cover light fittings with textiles and disconnect before handling.
  • Keep the walkway clear and close pull-out elements after use to prevent trips.
  • Remove packaging after assembly and keep screws and small parts out of the reach of children.

Storage and maintenance

  • Place the unit indoors, away from direct sources of heat and constant humidity.
  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry; avoid abrasive products, scouring pads and cleaners containing ammonia or solvents.
  • Protect from prolonged direct sunlight to reduce discolouration or warping.
  • Ventilate the interior periodically and wipe up spills immediately to prevent mould and unpleasant odours.
  • Regularly check screws, hinges, anchors, runners and feet; retighten or replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Ensure shelves and rails are properly seated and free from deformation; redistribute the weight if necessary.
  • Keep runners and hinges clean and, if the product permits, lightly lubricate them.
  • For moves, empty the unit, remove loose shelves and secure doors and drawers to prevent damage.

Restrictions of use

  • Do not climb, sit or stand on shelves, drawers, doors or rails; do not use as a ladder or scaffold.
  • Do not allow children to play inside the unit or to hang from the doors or drawers; keep them away during assembly.
  • Do not exceed the recommended loads or hang heavy objects from the doors.
  • Do not modify the structure or drill into elements that could affect stability or anchoring points.
  • Do not store flammable liquids, chemicals or hot appliances inside.
  • Do not install outdoors or in areas with high and persistent humidity.
  • Do not place the unit blocking exits, switches or detectors; leave space for adequate ventilation behind and underneath.
