Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Burns from water that is too hot or sudden temperature changes when opening the tap.
- Slips due to splashes that leave the floor slippery.
- Leaks or disconnections at the threaded connection or on the hose that can cause uncontrolled sprays and water damage.
- Product damage due to hose kinking or twisting, or sudden overpressure.
- Build-up of limescale and dirt that reduces flow and may cause unpleasant odours or foster microbial growth.
- Irritation or injury if a concentrated jet is directed at close range at the eyes or sensitive skin.
Safe use
- Turn the water on gradually and check the temperature with your hand before directing the spray at your body.
- Start with the gentlest spray setting and avoid bringing it too close to sensitive areas, wounds or the eyes.
- Hold the handset firmly when changing mode or adjusting the flow to prevent it slipping.
- Secure the handset correctly in its holder so it does not fall; do not leave it hanging over the edge.
- Avoid twisting, sharply bending or pulling the hose; it could be damaged or come loose.
- After installing or adjusting, check for leaks at connections and seals; hand-tighten without over-tightening.
- If the water has been stagnant (e.g., after several days without use), let it run for a few seconds before showering.
- After using cleaners in the shower, rinse the surfaces and the handset thoroughly to avoid skin irritation.
Storage and maintenance
- Clean periodically with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products; avoid concentrated bleach, ammonia or strong acids that damage finishes and seals.
- Remove limescale from the nozzles with compatible descalers or by gently rubbing if they are rubber; do not use sharp objects.
- Regularly check seals and connections; replace cracked or hardened O-rings or seals.
- Check the hose: if it shows cracks, bulges or persistent kinks, replace it.
- After use, let the water drain and avoid keeping the handset submerged to prevent backflow and deposits.
- Keep the bathroom ventilated to reduce moisture around the holder and prevent mould.
- If it will not be used for a period or there is a risk of frost, drain the hose and store the handset dry.
Restrictions on use
- Intended for use only with domestic mains water; not suitable for steam, solvents, oils or other liquids.
- Do not use the handset or hose as a support to hang objects.
- Do not modify, drill or block the water outlets; this could cause overpressure and leaks.
- Do not use the product if you notice cracks, loose parts, significant leaks or edges that could cut.
- Keep out of reach of unsupervised children and check the temperature before bringing it close to babies, children, elderly people or those with thermal sensitivity.
- Use only compatible hoses, seals and holders in good condition; avoid makeshift adapters that may come loose.
