Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Tipping over or movement of portable goals due to insufficient anchoring or gusts of wind.
- Entrapment or entanglement in the net, hooks, ropes or hinges.
- Impacts with goalposts or the crossbar due to rebounds, collisions or the structure falling.
- Cuts or scratches from edges, protruding screws or damaged parts.
- Trips over anchors, pegs, bases or ballast around the goal.
- Risk when climbing or hanging from the crossbar, with the possibility of falling or tipping over.
- Damage when dragging the goal over unsuitable surfaces.
Safe use
- Assemble following the product instructions and use all supplied fixings.
- Always anchor or ballast the goal according to the surface type; do not use it without securing the base.
- Check stability before each session by gently pushing the structure.
- Tension and secure the net properly; secure ropes and loose ends to prevent snagging.
- Keep a clear safety area behind and to the sides; avoid walls, fences or nearby traffic.
- Use the goal on flat, level ground; avoid slippery or excessively soft surfaces.
- Do not hang from the crossbar or climb the structure; do not allow children to do so either.
- To move it, use at least two people, lifting rather than dragging.
- On windy days, increase ballast/anchoring and suspend use if the goal does not remain stable.
- Periodically check screws, joints, tube end caps and anchoring components.
Storage and maintenance
- Remove or tip over and secure portable goals when not in use to prevent accidental tipping.
- Store in a dry, ventilated place; dry the structure and the net before storing them.
- Frequently check the net (tears, fraying) and replace it if damaged.
- Check for corrosion, cracks, welds and loose parts; replace deteriorated components.
- Keep tube ends protected with their caps or covers.
- On folding models, engage the locks before transporting or storing.
- Clean with water and mild soap; avoid abrasive products that may damage the finish.
- Outdoors, if left installed, keep the anchoring in place and reinforce it in windy periods.
Usage restrictions
- Use a goal appropriate for the sport and the players' size/age.
- Do not use it in adverse weather conditions (strong winds, thunderstorms, ice).
- Do not use it if parts are missing, there is play, the net is torn or the base is not secured.
- Do not modify the structure or add improvised weights that could destabilise it.
- Do not place it on slopes, in vehicle access routes, in other play areas or near doors and windows.
- Do not hang objects on the net or use it for climbing.
- Children must always use it under adult supervision.
- Maintain sufficient distance between opposing goals to prevent player collisions.
