Warnings and safety precautions

Main risks

  • Trips and falls caused by cones, agility ladders, bases or stands being poorly positioned in the play area.
  • Accidental impacts with accessories or other people if items are used in confined spaces or without organisation.
  • Sudden snap-backs or breakages of elastic elements (bands, resistance cords) that may strike the body, face or eyes.
  • Skin irritation or discomfort from sweat, chafing, or materials of textiles, neoprene items and compression garments.
  • Punctures or minor cuts from pointed or metallic parts (for example, inflation needles) and rigid edges.
  • Choking hazard from small or detachable parts in the hands of children.
  • Slips due to water spills from bottles or build-up of sweat on the floor.
  • Hygiene risks if mouthpieces, whistles or mouthguards are not cleaned.

Safe use

  • Check each accessory before use: look for cracks, loose seams, perished or cracked rubber, or loose parts, and do not use it if it shows significant wear.
  • Work on a stable, clear surface; place cones, ladders and other items out of walkways when not in use.
  • Maintain a safe distance between people and moving accessories; explain the exercise before starting.
  • If the accessory includes elastic elements, anchor only to firm points and do not stretch them beyond their limit; avoid directing them towards the face or eyes.
  • Adjust knee pads, elbow pads, wrist supports and compression sleeves correctly: snug but not cutting off circulation; remove them if you notice tingling or numbness.
  • Handle inflation needles and pumps with the cap on when not in use and keep hands away from the tip; avoid over-inflating.
  • Close bottles tightly to prevent leaks and clean up any spillage immediately to prevent slips.
  • Clean after use any items that contact the mouth or skin (mouthpieces, whistles, mouthguards) and do not share them without prior cleaning.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store accessories clean and completely dry in a ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and excessive heat.
  • Store bands and elastics without tension and away from heat sources; inspect them periodically and replace them if they show micro-cracks, loss of elasticity or discolouration.
  • Wash textiles and protective gear according to the manufacturer's instructions and allow them to air out to prevent unpleasant odours and bacterial growth.
  • Place needles, pumps, whistles and small parts in cases or closed pockets to avoid loss or damage.
  • Regularly disinfect high-contact surfaces (mouthpieces, grips, guards) and allow to dry before storing.
  • Do not store wet accessories in sealed bags; empty and dry bottles after use.
  • Keep all components and small parts out of reach of children and pets.

Restrictions of use

  • Use the accessories only for their intended sporting purpose; they are not toys or certified personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Avoid use on slippery, unstable surfaces or in areas with pedestrian or vehicle traffic.
  • Minors must use these accessories under adult supervision, especially if they include small parts or elastic elements.
  • Do not modify the accessories or improvise unsafe anchors; if an item is damaged or incomplete, do not use it.
  • Do not share mouth-contact items without prior cleaning or without a personal case.
  • Stop the activity if you feel sharp pain, dizziness or numbness and remove the accessory involved.
