Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Trolley tipping due to overloading, uneven distribution of balls, or impacts while moving.
  • Finger entrapment in hinges, folding points and junctions between the basket and frame.
  • Bumps or collisions with people or objects in crowded areas; foot injuries from contact with the wheels.
  • Falls or slips from balls spilling out of the basket.
  • Back injuries from lifting or handling the trolley when it is full.
  • Unintended movement on slopes or uneven ground if the wheels are not locked.
  • Cuts or snags from damaged edges, rods or mesh.

Safe use

  • Before use, check that the frame is stable, with no play or loose parts, and that the wheels spin and the brakes engage correctly.
  • Do not exceed the recommended capacity or fill the basket to the point of obstructing visibility. Distribute the balls evenly.
  • Engage the brakes when the trolley is stationary and place it on level surfaces; avoid kerbs, steps and steep slopes.
  • Move the trolley at a moderate speed, pushing and keeping a clear path. Avoid running or making sharp turns.
  • Keep hands away from hinges and locking points when opening, folding or adjusting the trolley. Ensure all locks are engaged before use.
  • Position the trolley outside the field of play to avoid impacts from balls or equipment.
  • If you need to lift the trolley, reduce the load first and use an appropriate lifting technique or assistance from another person.
  • Use lids or net covers if the model includes them to prevent balls spilling during transport.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store the trolley in a dry, ventilated place. Wipe away moisture and clean off dust or sand that may damage wheels and joints.
  • Regularly check wheels, brakes, fasteners, rivets and mesh. Replace worn or damaged parts before further use.
  • Lubricate axles or wheels if applicable according to the manufacturer's instructions and remove any build-up of dirt.
  • Fold and lock the trolley correctly for storage; avoid stacking weight on top that could deform the frame.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat sources that may degrade plastics, rubber and fabrics.
  • Store it out of walkways to prevent trips and out of reach of small children.

Restrictions on use

  • Do not transport people, children or pets in the trolley, nor use it as a seat, ladder or platform.
  • Do not drag it up or down stairs or use it on steep slopes or very slippery surfaces.
  • Do not modify the frame or remove stops, guards or locking mechanisms.
  • Do not use the trolley to carry sharp or heavy items, or items unrelated to its intended purpose, that could damage the frame or mesh.
  • Do not hang bags or other items from the edge or handle that could unbalance the unit.
  • Do not use the trolley if it shows cracks, deformations, loose fasteners or damaged wheels until it has been repaired or the parts replaced.
  • Use by minors must be under adult supervision.
