Main risks

  • Cuts when handling blades, discs and other sharp accessories.
  • Burns and scalds from hot surfaces, steam and splashes on models with a cooking function or when blending hot liquids.
  • Electrical risk due to the base coming into contact with water, or from damaged plugs or cables.
  • Splashes and spills if the lid is not properly locked or the maximum fill level is exceeded.
  • Movement or tipping of the appliance during kneading or at high speeds.
  • Motor overheating due to blade jams, overloading or continuous use without breaks.
  • Cross-contamination due to inadequate hygiene or mixing raw and cooked foods in the same jug.
  • Entrapment of clothing, hair or utensils in moving parts.

Safe use

  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface, leaving space around it and keeping it away from the edge of the worktop.
  • Before starting, check that the jug, lid, seals and accessories are correctly fitted and locked.
  • Do not insert hands or utensils while it is running; use only the pusher or intended accessories.
  • Start at low speed and increase gradually, especially with liquids or hot preparations.
  • Do not exceed the fill mark; with hot or foaming liquids reduce the volume to prevent splashes.
  • When opening after heating or hot blending, stop the appliance, wait a few seconds and release steam slowly, directing the lid away from your body.
  • Always unplug before assembling, changing accessories, clearing blockages or cleaning.
  • Keep the cable away from hot surfaces and the edge; handle the plug with dry hands.
  • If you notice unusual noises, excessive vibration or a burning smell, stop use and unplug before checking for possible obstructions.

Storage and maintenance

  • Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning. Do not immerse the motor base; clean and dry thoroughly all parts that come into contact with food after each use.
  • Carefully remove and wash the blades, seals and lid; use a brush or cloth to avoid cuts and check that no residue remains.
  • Regularly check the jug, lid, seals, blades and cable; replace any parts that are damaged, cracked, deformed or rusty.
  • Store blades and discs with protectors or in secure containers, out of reach of children.
  • Keep the appliance and accessories in a dry, ventilated place; avoid moisture and do not place weight on the jug or lid.
  • Let the motor rest between intensive cycles to aid heat dissipation and prolong its service life.

Restrictions of use

  • For indoor domestic use; not suitable for professional environments or outdoor use.
  • Do not use the appliance if the lid or locking systems are missing, or if any part is damaged.
  • Do not operate it with a damaged cable, a loose plug or a wet base.

  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets during operation; children should only use it under adult supervision.
  • Do not cover ventilation grilles or place the appliance on soft surfaces that impede heat dissipation.
  • Do not move the appliance or remove the jug while the blades are spinning.
