Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Detachment due to overloading, insufficient fixing or wet/smooth surfaces, causing towels or other objects to fall and potential bumps or slips.
  • Bumps or snags when passing if hooks protrude in narrow areas or at head height.
  • Damage to tiles, walls or doors from improper installation or when removing adhesive pads/suction cups.
  • Corrosion or deterioration due to humidity and harsh cleaning products, leading to loss of strength.
  • Risk of puncturing hidden pipes or cables when drilling bathroom walls.
  • Suction cups and adhesives may lose adhesion with temperature changes, vapour or textured surfaces.

Safe use

  • Respect the stated load capacity and note that wet towels and bathrobes weigh more.
  • Choose a fixing system suitable for the surface (tile, glass, wood, door). For adhesive pads or suction cups, avoid grout lines, raised textures and porous surfaces.
  • Clean and thoroughly dry the surface before applying adhesive pads or suction cups, and allow the full curing time. Start by testing with light loads.
  • Before drilling, check for the possible presence of pipes or cables and use fixings and wall plugs suitable for the wall material.
  • Position hooks away from narrow walkways, not behind doors, and not at head height to reduce knocks.
  • On glass shower screens or doors, use only hooks specifically suitable for glass and do not drill unless indicated by the manufacturer.
  • Do not hang electrical appliances (hairdryers, hair straighteners) where they could get wet or fall into basins or baths.
  • Check the fixing periodically, especially after temperature changes or high humidity.

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid scouring pads or abrasive chemicals that could damage finishes and reduce adhesion.
  • Dry the hooks after splashes and promote bathroom ventilation to minimise condensation.
  • Check and, if appropriate, tighten screws regularly. Replace parts that are rusty, cracked or deformed.
  • Replace adhesive pads or suction cups when they show wear, persistent dirt or loss of suction. Remove limescale from suction cups to improve sealing.
  • Store spares and unused adhesive pads in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children.

Restrictions on use

  • Do not use as a support, grab handle or climbing aid. Do not hang from the hook.
  • Do not exceed the recommended load, nor hang very heavy or fragile objects in passageways where they could be knocked or fall.
  • Do not install on unstable surfaces, those with permanent damp, fresh paint or coverings that are peeling.
  • Do not place inside the shower or outdoors unless the product explicitly states it is suitable.
  • Keep out of the reach of young children if the hook has small detachable parts or pronounced edges; prevent them from swinging on or hanging from it.
  • Do not modify the fixing system or mix fastening components other than those intended for the product.
