Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Skin irritation, chafing or allergies due to prolonged skin contact, build-up of sweat, or sensitivity to certain strap materials.
- Overheating during charging or due to a faulty battery, with a potential risk of minor burns or damage to the device.
- Water or steam damage if the model’s resistance is exceeded; salt water, chlorinated water and soap can degrade seals and straps.
- Risk of corrosion and charging failure if the band or connectors are wet.
- Minor injuries from an overly tight fit (numbness, chafing) or snagging on clothing or objects during physical activity.
- Distractions from notifications and vibrations while driving or operating machinery.
- Risk to children from small parts, straps and magnets (choking or strangulation).
- Possible interference with active medical implants in proximity to chargers or magnetic clasps.
Safe use
- Adjust the band so it is snug but comfortable; allow your skin to breathe and change its position on your wrist throughout the day.
- Keep skin and strap clean and dry; rinse with fresh water after exposure to sweat, seawater or pool water, and dry thoroughly before putting it back on.
- Remove the smart band if you notice redness, itching or discomfort, and allow the skin to recover before resuming use.
- Charge only when the device and connectors are completely dry; gently clean the contacts before charging.
- Use compatible, undamaged chargers and cables; place the device on a hard surface and do not cover it while charging.
- Do not open, pierce or crush the band or the battery; avoid hard knocks and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas and high-pressure water; if exposed to salt or chlorine, rinse and dry after exposure.
- Set up workouts and notifications before setting off; do not interact with the screen while driving or performing hazardous tasks.
- Keep chargers and magnetic items away from medical implants and magnetic-stripe cards.
Storage and maintenance
- Store the smart band and charger in a dry, ventilated place away from sources of extreme heat or cold and direct sunlight.
- Dry the device and strap thoroughly before storing; clean with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and avoid harsh chemicals.
- Regularly check the strap, clasps and connectors; replace any part that is damaged or heavily worn.
- Keep the charging contacts clean and free of residue from sweat, salt or creams to prevent corrosion and charging failures.
- Do not leave the charger plugged in unnecessarily; unplug it when not in use and avoid excessively bending the cable.
- If you will not be using the band for a while, charge it from time to time to preserve the battery.
- Avoid storing next to metal objects or strong magnets that may affect clasps or sensors.
Usage restrictions
- This is not a medical device; do not use its measurements for diagnosis or critical healthcare decisions.
- Keep out of reach of young children; for minors, use under adult supervision.
- Do not use if the casing is cracked, the strap is broken, the connectors are corroded, or if the battery swells, overheats, or emits an unusual odour.
- Avoid use during contact sports or activities with a risk of snagging; remove it where its use is prohibited.
- People with known allergies to strap materials or very sensitive skin should limit wear time and choose suitable straps.
- Those with active medical implants should maintain the distance recommended by the implant manufacturer and not place the magnetic charger over the implant area.
- Do not tamper with the software or hardware or use unauthorised accessories, as this may compromise safety and operation.
- Do not use the smart band while it is charging.
