Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Muscle fatigue and discomfort in the hands, wrists, arms or shoulders due to prolonged use or excessive grip.
- Tripping or pulling on cables in walkways, potentially causing falls or damage to ports and devices.
- Overheating during charging or from faulty batteries, with a risk of minor burns or fire.
- Damage from liquids, sweat or improper cleaning that can cause electrical failures.
- Detachable small parts or accessible batteries: ingestion risk for children.
- Possible interference with sensitive medical implants due to wireless connectivity.
- Accidental impacts to people or objects during motion-sensing or virtual reality gameplay.
- Skin irritation from prolonged contact, friction or surface heat.
Safe use
- Adjust your posture and grip; take regular breaks and perform gentle stretches to avoid strain.
- Adjust or reduce vibration and trigger intensity if uncomfortable.
- Keep cables tidy and out of walkways; disconnect by holding the connector, not by pulling the cable.
- Use compatible, good-condition chargers and cables; do not charge or use the controller if the cable or port is damaged.
- Charge on a firm, well-ventilated surface; do not cover it or place it under pillows or textiles while charging.
- Use the controller with dry hands and away from liquids; unplug before cleaning and avoid abrasive products.
- If it uses batteries, respect the polarity; do not mix new and used batteries or different types; do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- If the controller includes wrist straps or motion sensing, use them and clear the area to avoid impacts.
- Keep a safe distance from medical implants and avoid carrying the controller in chest pockets; disable wireless connectivity if you notice interference.
Storage and maintenance
- Store in a dry, ventilated place away from sources of heat, humidity and direct sunlight.
- Avoid placing weight on sticks and buttons; use a cover or case for transport.
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry before use; do not spray liquids directly or insert objects into the slots.
- Periodically check the casing, sticks, connectors and cables; stop using it if you observe cracks, looseness, swelling, sparks or an unusual odour.
- If it contains a battery, charge it from time to time when not in use for long periods; avoid storing it completely discharged.
- If it uses batteries, remove them for prolonged storage and keep them out of the reach of children.
- Keep the device software up to date when recommended by the manufacturer to improve stability and security.
Usage restrictions
- Not a toy: keep out of reach of small children and pets; supervise minors, especially when cables are present or with motion-based games.
- Do not use if it shows visible damage, if the battery overheats, is swollen, or there is a burning smell.
- Do not open, modify, puncture or replace the battery with incompatible models.
- Do not use in damp environments, in the rain or with wet hands.
- Do not use while walking, near stairs or when controlling vehicles.
- People with sensitive medical implants: if necessary, use with a cable and with wireless connectivity disabled, keeping a distance.
- Do not cover the controller or place it on soft surfaces or heat sources while charging.
