Safety warnings and precautions
Key risks
- Hearing damage from high volumes or prolonged use (ringing, discomfort or listening fatigue).
- Reduced awareness of your surroundings, with a risk of accidents when walking, driving or operating machinery.
- Tugs or snags on the cable that can cause objects to fall, trips, or damage to the connector.
- Skin or ear canal irritation from pressure, sweat, dirt, or unsuitable tips or pads.
- Risk from moisture, sweat or water, especially while charging.
- Overheating or battery failure in wireless models if charged or used improperly.
- Small parts (tips, ear pads, adaptors) pose a choking hazard to children and pets.
- Neck or jaw discomfort from an overly tight fit or prolonged use.
- Possible interference with medical devices sensitive to magnets or radio frequency.
Safe use
- Always start with the volume low and increase it gradually; take regular breaks to rest your ears.
- Avoid using them while driving, cycling or on a scooter, or whenever you need to hear ambient sounds; if you must hear alerts, leave one ear free.
- Put on and remove the headphones gently; for in-ear models, do not insert them too deeply and use the correct ear tip size.
- Manage the cable to avoid tugs; disconnect by holding the connector, never by pulling the cable.
- Do not share pads or tips without cleaning them; maintain good hygiene to reduce irritation.
- Avoid using them with wet ears or if the product is damp; if they get wet, dry them completely before use or charging.
- Charge on a stable, ventilated surface using the cable and charger recommended by the manufacturer; if you notice unusual heat, a burning odour or strange noises, unplug and stop using it.
- Do not sleep with headphones on, especially if they are wired.
- Keep a safe distance from sensitive medical devices and follow the instructions provided by your medical device's manufacturer.
Storage and maintenance
- Store them in their case to protect them from impacts, dust and moisture.
- Clean pads and grilles regularly with a soft, dry cloth; carefully remove sweat and earwax. Avoid abrasive products or excessive alcohol.
- Do not insert objects into the grilles or ports; you may damage the filters or drivers.
- Keep the charging contacts dry and do not charge if they are damp.
- Coil the cable without forcing it and avoid knots; do not hang the headphones by pulling on the cable or headband.
- Avoid extreme temperatures and prolonged direct sunlight (for example, inside a car in the sun).
- Replace damaged tips, pads or cables to maintain hygiene and a proper fit.
- If not used for long periods, charge them periodically to preserve the battery.
Restrictions of use
- Not suitable for children under 3; keep out of reach due to choking or strangulation risk from the cable.
- For older children, use with adult supervision, monitoring volume and listening time.
- Do not use if you have ear pain, irritation, wounds or an infection; wait until you have recovered before using them again.
- Do not use or charge the product if it shows visible damage, frayed wires, deformation or signs of a swollen battery.
- Do not open, modify, puncture or expose to fire or intense heat sources.
- Avoid use in environments where it is essential to hear alarms, safety signals or instructions.
