Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Burns from water that is too hot or sudden temperature changes when starting the shower.
  • Falls caused by wet floors or splashes outside the shower area.
  • Injuries from the shower head or arm coming loose if not securely fixed.
  • Damage from leaks caused by improperly seated washers or damaged threads.
  • Discomfort or eye irritation from misdirected spray due to limescale build-up or dirt.
  • Risk of bacterial growth in stagnant water after long periods without use.
  • Minor knocks or cuts when handling tools during installation.

Safe use

  • Before installing or replacing, check compatibility with your system (connection type and typical operating pressure).
  • Shut off the water supply and protect the work area. Hand-tighten first, then finish with a tool only as needed, without forcing.
  • Fit the washer correctly and, if the connection requires it, use suitable sealing material. Avoid over-tightening.
  • After installation, turn the water on gradually, flush for a few seconds and check for leaks. Aim the spray towards the shower tray.
  • During use, check the temperature with your hand before standing under the shower head, especially with children or people sensitive to heat.
  • Do not hang from or use the shower head or arm for support. Adjust the direction with gentle movements, without over-rotating.
  • Avoid directing the spray towards light fittings, sockets or other electrical equipment.

Storage and maintenance

  • If you are not going to install it immediately, store the shower head in a dry place, protected from dust, impacts and prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat.
  • Clean regularly with a soft cloth and pH-neutral soap. Avoid scouring pads, solvents, bleach and abrasive products.
  • Remove limescale periodically in line with your water hardness; use suitable descalers and rinse thoroughly before using again.
  • Check washers, filters and joints if fitted; replace any worn or cracked parts.
  • If it has not been used for a while, let the water run for a few seconds before showering to flush out any water left inside.
  • If you notice persistent leaks, unusual noises or vibrations, stop using it and check the installation to prevent water damage.

Usage restrictions

  • Intended for indoor domestic showers. Do not install outdoors or in steam environments unless specified by the manufacturer.
  • Do not exceed the system pressure or temperature recommended by your system’s manufacturer.
  • Do not modify the product (drilling, filing, removing internal components) or mix incompatible parts.
  • Do not use with water containing sand or solids without proper filtration, to avoid blockages and irregular spray.
  • Keep small parts and washers out of the reach of children. Children and people with reduced mobility or thermal sensitivity should use it under supervision.
  • Do not use pressure washers directly on the installed shower head.
