Ring Lights
Warnings and safety precautions
Key risks
- Glare and visual fatigue from looking directly at the light at close range or using high brightness for extended periods.
- Overheating of the ring light, adaptor or charger if covered or used in poorly ventilated spaces.
- Risk of electric shock from damaged, loose or substandard cables, connectors or adaptors.
- Drops of the ring light or stand, with potential impacts, pinching in telescopic locks, or damage to the mounted device.
- Tripping hazards from cable runs in walkways.
- Damage from moisture or liquid spills.
- Battery-related risks (where applicable): heating, leakage or damage if they are deteriorated or charged incorrectly.
- Remote controls with button-cell batteries: ingestion risk for children if the compartment is not properly closed.
Safe use
- Set up the ring light on a level, stable surface; fully spread the tripod legs, tighten the joints and do not force the locks.
- Position the ring light at a comfortable distance; avoid looking straight into the light and use the diffuser if included. Adjust brightness gradually and take breaks for your eyes.
- Keep ventilation clear: do not cover the ring light or adaptor during use and avoid placing fabrics or other objects on top.
- Use only suitable, good-condition power supplies and cables; avoid chargers of dubious origin and check that the connector fits snugly with no play.
- Route and secure cables so they do not run through walkways; if possible, guide them along the base of the stand or fasten them with cable ties.
- Do not use the equipment with wet hands or on damp surfaces. Disconnect immediately if liquid gets inside.
- Before moving, changing the angle, adding a phone holder or other accessory, switch off and unplug the ring light.
- If the model is battery-powered, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging; do not cover the equipment while charging or leave it charging for prolonged periods without supervision.
Storage and maintenance
- Switch off, unplug and allow it to cool before storing.
- Store in a dry, cool and clean place, away from direct sunlight, moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Protect the ring light and diffuser with a cover or case; avoid placing weight on top to prevent deforming the structure or damaging the LEDs.
- Coil the cables without tension or tight bends; protect the connectors from impacts and dust.
- Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; do not spray cleaners directly or use abrasive products.
- Periodically check screws, locks, tripod legs, diffuser, cables and plugs; if you detect any damage, stop using the product.
- If you will not be using it for a long time, remove the battery or the remote’s batteries and store them separately, out of the reach of children.
Usage restrictions
- Not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and supervise use by minors.
- For indoor, dry environments unless otherwise specified by the product. Do not use it in the rain, in bathrooms or near water sources.
- Do not look directly at the LEDs at close range or use maximum brightness very close to the face. People with photosensitivity should avoid direct exposure.
- Do not use the ring light if the cable, adaptor, battery or stand are visibly damaged.
- Do not modify the equipment, pierce the housing or attempt to open sealed components.
- Do not hang objects from the ring light or exceed the capacity of the stand or tripod.
- Do not cover the equipment while it is switched on or leave it operating without supervision for extended periods.
- For remotes with button-cell batteries, use the specified type and ensure the compartment is properly closed with its security screw; keep batteries out of the reach of children.
