Safe use

- Fill on a stable surface and do not exceed the indicated capacity; use both hands to lift and pour.
- Carry slowly, without obstructing your view, and avoid walking on smooth wet floors.
- Secure the rose firmly before watering and direct the water flow away from your face and body.
- If diluting garden products, prepare the mixture in a well-ventilated area, wear gloves and, if there is a risk of splashes, eye protection.
- Do not use very hot water or leave the watering can in direct sunlight when full; check the temperature before handling.
- Avoid wetting sockets, extension leads or outdoor electrical equipment.
- Clearly label watering cans intended for chemicals to avoid confusing them with those for regular watering.
Storage and maintenance
- Empty and drain after each use; store upside down to prevent stagnant water.
- Clean the rose periodically and remove limescale deposits with mild products; avoid abrasive scourers or harsh chemicals.
- Dry before storing to reduce rust, mould and odours.
- Store in a dry, ventilated place, protected from frost and direct sunlight, to prevent warping or deterioration.
- Keep out of walkways to prevent trips and falls.
- Regularly check handles, joints and the body of the watering can; replace if there are leaks, cracks or sharp edges.
- If used with chemicals, rinse thoroughly after each use and store it separately from the others.

- Do not use as a stool, step, builder’s bucket or for any purpose other than watering.
- Do not lift or hang the watering can by the spout or the rose.

- Do not use if it has cracks, loose handles, leaks or loose parts.
- Keep a watering can exclusively for chemicals if you use them in the garden.
