Main risks

• Burns from very hot drinks and from the cup itself if it becomes hot.
• Spills and splashes when moving, overfilling or knocking the cup over.

• Breakage due to thermal shock (sudden temperature changes) or drops.
• Cross-contamination or bad odours if not cleaned and dried properly.

Safe use

• Check before each use that the cup and handle are free from cracks, chips or looseness.
• Do not fill to the brim; leave space to prevent splashes when moving or stirring.
• Check the temperature of the contents before drinking or offering to others.
• Hold by the handle and place the cup on a flat, stable surface, away from the edge of the table.
• Avoid sudden temperature changes (for example, do not pour boiling liquid into a very cold cup and vice versa).
• Confirm whether the model is microwave- or dishwasher-safe according to the manufacturer's instructions; do not use in an oven, on a hob or over a direct flame.
• Stir the contents carefully to avoid splashes; if it includes a lid, secure it properly before moving the cup.

Storage and maintenance

• Wash before first use and after each use with warm water and mild detergent; rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Avoid scouring pads or abrasive products that may damage the finish, glaze or decoration.
• Allow the cup to cool before washing if it has contained very hot liquids to reduce the risk of thermal shock.
• Store in a dry, well-ventilated place; stack carefully so they do not slide or knock against each other.
• Check regularly and take out of use any cup with cracks, chips, warping or a loose handle.
• If the model includes a lid, seals or silicone parts, clean and dry them separately to prevent moisture or odours.

Restrictions of use

• Do not use to heat directly over an open flame, on a hob, grill or barbecue.
• Do not use in a microwave if the cup has metallic parts or decoration.
• Do not use to store non-food substances (chemicals, solvents, etc.).
• Do not use damaged cups, cups with a loose handle or a chipped rim.
• Do not leave cups with hot liquids within reach of children or pets; for children, always serve under supervision.
• Avoid walking or driving with an open cup filled with hot liquid to reduce the risk of spills and burns.
