Main risks

• Burns from steam and boiling water when opening the lid, when pouring, or due to splashes.
• Spills due to overfilling, an improperly closed lid, or accidental tugs on the cord or knocks to the kettle.
• Contact with hot surfaces on the kettle body immediately after boiling.
• Electric shock risk from moisture on the base or plug, wet hands, or a damaged cord.
• Overheating if used with too little water or with no water.
• Irregular boiling spurts or spitting due to limescale build-up or foreign objects inside.
• Damage to worktops or furniture from steam directed towards sensitive surfaces.

Safe use

• Place the kettle on a firm, level and dry surface, away from edges and high-traffic areas.
• Keep the cord tidy and away from edges and hot surfaces; avoid stretching it or letting it hang.
• Fill only with clean water between the MIN and MAX marks; ensure the lid is properly closed.
• Do not heat without water and do not open the lid during boiling; direct the spout and steam away from your body.
• Remove the kettle from the base to refill and dry the exterior before placing it back on.
• Always hold by the handle and pour slowly; let it stand for a few seconds after boiling to reduce bubbling.
• Do not insert utensils or hands inside while it is hot.
• Switch off and unplug from the mains when not in use and before cleaning.
• If water spills on the base or around the plug, disconnect and dry completely before using again.

Storage and maintenance

• Allow to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
• Do not immerse parts with electrical components in water; clean the exterior with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry afterwards.
• Empty the kettle after each use and do not store it with water inside; open the lid to ventilate and prevent condensation.
• Descale periodically according to water hardness with a suitable product and rinse several times before using again.
• Remove and clean the filter or spout if they are detachable, following the product instructions.
• Check the cord, plug and base; if you notice any damage, do not use it.
• Store in a dry place, out of reach of children, without placing weight on the lid or excessively bending the cord.

Restrictions on use

• For indoor use, on stable, dry worktops; do not use outdoors or on hobs or ovens.
• Not a toy: keep out of reach of children; filling, boiling and pouring should be performed by adults only.
• People with heat sensitivity or reduced capabilities should use it under appropriate supervision.
• Do not cover the kettle or block the steam outlet with cloths or other objects.
• Do not use external timers or remote-control systems not intended for the product.
• Unless expressly stated by the manufacturer, do not heat milk, soups, oils or liquids other than water.
• Do not use the appliance if the lid does not close properly, if it leaks from the base, or if you notice a burning smell or any unusual operation.
