Usage Warnings
Wardrobe Racks and Rails
Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Rail or hook falling due to poor fixing or overloading, with possible knocks and damage to the furniture.
- Bending or breakage of the rail when the load is exceeded, causing garments to fall.
- Pinching or cuts from edges, screws or metal parts during assembly or adjustment.
- Adhesive hooks coming loose if the surface is unsuitable or the curing time is not observed.
- Interference with hinged or sliding doors that may cause snagging or trapping.
- Risk of falling when standing on unstable chairs to install at height.
- Small parts during assembly that may pose a risk of ingestion to children or pets.
- Corrosion in humid environments that weakens the fixing and stains clothing.
Safe use
- Check compatibility with your wardrobe (material, thickness and distance between sides) before installing.
- Observe the stated maximum load and distribute the weight evenly, avoiding concentrating heavy items in the centre.
- Use fixings suitable for the furniture material and avoid reusing damaged holes.
- Level and check for firmness by pulling gently before hanging garments.
- If the model is extendable or pull-down, fully lock the mechanism and do not over-extend it.
- For over-door hooks, ensure the hook sits securely and that the door opens and closes without rubbing.
- For adhesive models, clean and degrease the surface and allow the full curing time before loading.
- During installation, use a stable ladder and eye protection when drilling; keep fingers away from hinges or springs.
- Do not hang from or use the rail for support; avoid hanging very wet garments if this could exceed the load.
- Check that there are no protruding screws or edges that could snag or tear garments.
Storage and maintenance
- Clean with a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp; avoid abrasive products that could damage the finish.
- Dry the surface if it gets wet to prevent rust and stains on textiles.
- Periodically check screws, brackets and joints; re-tighten if you notice any play.
- Replace bent, cracked or rusted parts; do not try to straighten deformed rails.
- Lightly lubricate pull-down or telescopic mechanisms if they feel stiff.
- Keep fittings and spare parts out of the reach of children and pets.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or condensation; ventilate the inside of the wardrobe if you detect damp.
Usage restrictions
- Not designed to support the weight of people, or for climbing or swinging.
- Do not use outdoors or in high-humidity areas unless specifically designed for this.
- Do not install on damaged, cracked or too thin panels that do not provide a reliable fixing.
- Do not drill or modify the furniture outside the positions intended by the system manufacturer.
- Do not combine incompatible brackets, screws or adhesives, or those of dubious origin.
- Keep children and pets away during assembly and the initial load tests.
- Avoid hanging sharp objects, excessively wet items or electrical devices.
- Do not obstruct sliding door tracks or hinges; keep the opening and closing area clear.
