• Falls due to tipping when climbing on, rocking or sitting on the edge.

Safe use

• Use the stool on a firm, level and dry surface. Check its stability before sitting.
• Sit centred, with full support; avoid rocking or sitting on the edge.
• Do not use it as a step or to reach high areas, unless expressly indicated by the manufacturer.
• Observe the recommended maximum weight and limit use to one person only.
• Keep the caps or glides in good condition to improve grip and protect the floor.
• For folding models, open fully and lock the mechanism, keeping fingers away from the hinges.
• For swivel or height-adjustable stools, make adjustments with no load and with smooth movements, leaving space around for rotation.
• Position the stool at a sensible distance from worktops and edges to avoid knocking knees or feet.
• Keep the area free of obstacles and spilt liquids.

Storage and maintenance

• Periodically check screws, joints and mechanisms; tighten or readjust if you detect any looseness.
• Inspect for cracks, deformation, loose upholstery or worn parts. Stop using it until the damaged components are replaced.
• Replace worn non-slip caps or leg protectors immediately.
• Clean with a soft cloth and products suitable for the material. Avoid harsh solvents or soaking the surfaces.
• Dry spills promptly and avoid prolonged moisture to prevent deformation or rust.
• Protect from direct sunlight and intense heat sources that may degrade colours, adhesives or foams.
• Store indoors, in a dry, well-ventilated place. If stackable, do not exceed a reasonable height and align them securely to ensure stability.
• To move it, lift it rather than dragging it to avoid damage to the floor and joints.

Usage restrictions

• Recommended for indoor use, unless expressly indicated by the manufacturer for outdoor use.
• Do not use on wet floors, on markedly uneven surfaces, or on unstable carpets or rugs.
• Do not allow young children to use it unsupervised, or to climb on or play on it.
• Do not modify, drill or replace parts with others not designed for the model.
• Do not use if parts are missing, if the stool wobbles, or if the mechanism does not lock correctly.
• Do not place it next to heat sources, open flames or appliances that emit sparks.
• Do not stand on it or use it as a support for tools or heavy items.
