Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Tipping of tall or narrow units when drawers are opened, weight is placed on the top, or someone climbs on them.
- Finger entrapment in hinges, doors, drawers and runners.
- Cuts or injuries from sharp edges, exposed metal parts, or glass components that may break.
- Injuries when moving bulky or heavy items without assistance.
- Objects falling due to overloading or poor weight distribution on shelves.
- Furniture sliding on smooth floors, causing instability or damage.
- Risk to children and pets from small parts, loose fittings and packaging bags.
- Initial odours after unpacking in poorly ventilated spaces.
Safe use
- Assemble each piece following the manufacturer's instructions and using only the supplied fixings.
- Secure tall or tip-prone furniture to the wall where indicated, using the provided anti-tip devices.
- Distribute the load: place heavier items on the lower shelves and avoid concentrating weight at a single point.
- Do not climb or allow children to climb on or hang from doors, drawers, sides or shelves.
- Place furniture on level surfaces; compensate for minor unevenness with suitable shims or felt pads to improve stability.
- On units with glass or mirrors, avoid impacts and pressure on edges and corners; do not use the glass surface as a support to sit or stand on.
- Manage cables around sideboards or TV units to prevent snagging, trips and overheating from cable build-up.
- Remove and dispose of packaging safely; keep screws and small parts out of the reach of children and pets during assembly.
- To move the unit, empty the modules first, lift rather than drag, and if heavy, do so with two people.
Storage and maintenance
- Place furniture indoors in dry, well-ventilated areas; avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, condensation or direct heat.
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and non-abrasive products; wipe up spills immediately to prevent swelling or warping.
- Periodically check screws, hinges, handles and wall fixings; re-tighten if you detect any looseness.
- Replace any damaged part immediately; do not use the furniture if a panel, fitting or glass is cracked or loose.
- Fit protectors to the feet to reduce slipping and protect the floor.
- After unpacking, ventilate the room until any initial odours dissipate.
Usage restrictions
- Intended for indoor domestic use; not suitable for outdoor areas or zones with frequent splashes or vapour unless specifically stated for the product.
- Assembly and adjustment by adults; supervise children at all times around the furniture.
- Do not use tables, sideboards or shelves as a ladder, workbench or seat unless designed for that purpose.
- Do not exceed the load capacity indicated by the manufacturer for shelves, drawers, seats or surfaces.
- Do not modify the structure (drilling, cuts, different fixings) or remove reinforcement or anti-tip components.
- Do not place furniture next to intense heat sources or open flames.
- If the product requires wall anchoring or suspended mounting, use fixings suitable for the wall type; if in doubt, consult a qualified installer.
