Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Glare, eye strain or eye injury from direct exposure to intense light.
- Heating of the housing or lens that may cause minor burns or damage sensitive surfaces.
- Electrical risk due to damaged cables or plugs, moisture at connections, or use of unsuitable adaptors.
- The projector or its stand falling, with possible injury or property damage.
- Trips and snags caused by cable runs across walkways.
- Fire risk if the light is covered or used near flammable materials.
- Ingress of water or dust in models not designed for it, potentially causing malfunctions or short circuits.
- Battery risks (in rechargeable models): overheating, leakage or ignition due to improper charging or use.
Safe use
- Read and follow the model-specific instructions before first use.
- Do not look directly into the beam, nor point it at the eyes of people or animals.
- Place the projector on a stable surface or suitable mount; secure all fixings properly before switching on.
- Keep ventilation grilles clear and do not cover the unit while in operation.
- Keep a safe distance from curtains, plastics, paints and other heat-sensitive surfaces.
- Route the cable along walls or edges and secure it to prevent trips and tugs.
- Use only compatible chargers and power supplies; charge on a firm, non-flammable surface.
- Do not use the product when wet or with wet hands; protect plugs and connections from rain and splashes if the model is not designed for such exposure.
- Unplug and allow to cool before moving, cleaning or repositioning the light.
- If you notice a burning smell, sparks, smoke, unusual noises or excessive temperature, switch off and unplug immediately.
Storage and maintenance
- Allow to cool completely before storing.
- Store in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Periodically check the housing, mount, screws and fixings, cable, plug and charging ports; do not use the product if you detect any damage.
- Clean the lens and ventilation areas with a soft, dry cloth; unplug before cleaning and avoid abrasive products. Do not immerse it.
- Keep ports and sealing caps free of dust and moisture; close them properly before outdoor use if the model allows it.
- If rechargeable, perform periodic top-ups during prolonged inactivity to avoid deep discharge.
- If using replaceable batteries, remove them if the device will not be used for an extended period.
Usage restrictions
- Keep out of reach of young children; use by minors only under adult supervision.
- Do not use as a close-range directed light to illuminate people or animals.
- Do not cover with fabrics, paper or cardboard, nor use in unventilated spaces.
- Do not hang the projector by the cable or use the cable as a handle.
- Do not modify, open the housing or tamper with the battery.
- Do not use on unstable surfaces, near edges, or at height without additional securing.
- Do not connect to overloaded power strips, extension leads or generators.
- Do not charge or use the product in the rain unless the model is clearly designed for it.
