Warnings and safety precautions

Main risks

  • Detachment of suction-cup or adhesive-mounted baskets or shelves due to poor adhesion or overloading, leading to items falling.
  • Slips due to drips or spills of gels, shampoos or water accumulated in the baskets.
  • Cuts or scratches from damaged edges, loose parts or broken plastic/glass.
  • Mould and unpleasant odours due to lack of ventilation or storing damp sponges and fabrics.
  • Pinching when opening or closing lids, swing-top bins or hinged compartments.
  • Tipping over of tall or unstable containers if placed in walkways or on uneven surfaces.
  • Unwanted access by children or pets to stored hygiene or cleaning products.

Safe use

  • Ensure the surface is clean and dry before fitting suction-cup or adhesive mounts; test the hold with a light load at first.
  • Do not exceed the recommended load and distribute the weight to avoid stress at a single point.
  • Avoid direct impact of the shower spray on the fixings and wipe away excess water after use.
  • Position baskets out of walkways to reduce knocks and accidental snagging.
  • Handle glass containers with care, and take out of service any item that is cracked or has rough edges.
  • Open and close lids or compartments slowly, keeping fingers away from the hinges.
  • If the product requires permanent fixing, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use only the specified mounting accessories.

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean regularly with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products; rinse away soap residue to prevent slippery films.
  • Dry surfaces after showering and allow ventilation; do not leave damp sponges or textiles enclosed inside.
  • Check suction cups, adhesives and hooks periodically; replace them if they show loss of grip or deformation.
  • Remove standing water and keep drainage holes, if any, clear.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat sources or direct sunlight that may warp plastics or degrade adhesives.
  • Remove the product from use if you observe advanced rust, cracks, loose parts or instability.

Restrictions on use

  • Do not use as a support for leaning, climbing or hanging; it is not a step or a grab rail.
  • Do not store flammable, corrosive or bulk substances in the bathroom without an adequate seal.
  • Do not apply suction cups or adhesives to rough, porous or textured surfaces; use only on smooth, clean and dry surfaces.
  • Do not place tall containers at the edge of worktops or shelves where they may tip over.
  • Do not leave cleaning products, blades or other hazardous items stored in these baskets or containers within the reach of children.
  • Do not force lids or mechanisms; if they offer resistance, check the contents or alignment before closing.
