Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Burns from excessively hot water or sudden temperature changes when opening or closing the tap.
  • Slips and falls due to splashes, drips or leaks that leave the floor wet.
  • Flooding and damage due to incorrect installation or deterioration of seals, cartridges or flexible hoses.
  • Minor knocks or cuts when handling metal parts and tools during installation.
  • Deterioration of the finish and seals due to the use of harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Safe use

  • Check the water temperature with your hand before filling the bath; start with cold water and add hot gradually.
  • Avoid abrupt turns; open and close the handles gently to prevent sudden surges and splashes.
  • Monitor the bath while filling and do not leave it unattended to prevent overflow.
  • Shut off the water supply before installing or handling the tap and check for leaks when finished.
  • Use appropriate tools, do not force threads, and check that connectors and flexible hoses are compatible and in good condition.
  • Do not use the tap for support or hang weight from the spout or handles.
  • If you notice unusual noises, vibrations or dripping, shut off the water and check the joints; do not use the tap until the issue has been resolved.

Storage and maintenance

  • Before installation, store the tap in a dry place, protected from dust and knocks; keep small parts together to avoid loss.
  • Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water; avoid scouring pads, bleach and acidic or highly concentrated products. Rinse and dry afterwards.
  • Remove limescale with non-aggressive descalers, following the product instructions to avoid damaging finishes or seals.
  • Periodically check joints, seals and flexible hoses; if you notice cracks, corrosion or dripping, replace the affected part.
  • After any intervention, verify the flow rate and temperature stability are correct before using the bath.

Usage restrictions

  • Do not use the tap outdoors or in environments with a risk of frost or extreme temperatures.
  • Do not operate the tap at pressures or temperatures outside the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Do not block the water outlet or obstruct the spout with plugs or objects.
  • Do not dismantle internal components or modify the tap; for complex repairs or new installations, use a qualified installer.
  • Keep children and dependent persons under supervision when using hot water.
