Main risks

• Skin, eye and respiratory irritation from direct contact, vapours or aerosols.
• Risk of chemical burns with concentrated or caustic products.
• Flammability of solvents and aerosols; possible ignition from sparks or flames.
• Hazardous reactions when mixing incompatible cleaners (e.g., bleach with ammonia or acids) with the release of irritating gases.
• Falls on wet floors or slippery surfaces after cleaning.
• Damage to tools, metals, plastics, paints or seals due to improper use.
• Electrical risk when applying liquids to connected equipment or sockets.
• Possible spontaneous combustion of rags impregnated with oils or solvents if piled up.

Safe use

• Read the label and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and dilution.
• Wear protective gloves, goggles and, if there are vapours or spray, a mask. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Work in well-ventilated areas; do not inhale mists or vapours. Open doors/windows or use extraction.
• Do not mix products. Explicitly avoid combining bleach with ammonia or with acids.
• Disconnect the power and allow machines and tools to cool before cleaning. Do not spray onto energised equipment.
• Apply only the necessary amount and direct the spray away from your face. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use.
• Signpost and dry wet areas to prevent slips; remove excess product.
• Test first on a small, inconspicuous area to check compatibility with the surface.
• With aerosols, do not pierce or burn the container; use at the recommended distance.

Storage and maintenance

• Keep products in their original container, tightly closed and with a legible label.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat, sparks, flames and direct sunlight.
• Keep separate from food, drink and animal feed. Do not decant into food-use containers.
• Avoid extreme temperatures. Keep containers upright to prevent leaks.
• Check containers and caps periodically. If you detect deterioration or leakage, isolate the product and clean up with absorbent material.
• Manage impregnated rags and paper by spreading them out to dry outdoors or in lidded metal containers; do not pile them up.
• In the event of spills, ventilate the area, contain and absorb with non-combustible material; clean the floor to prevent slips.
• Dispose of waste and containers in accordance with the product manufacturer’s instructions.

Restrictions on use

• For adult use. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not ingest or intentionally inhale. Avoid use in spaces without adequate ventilation.
• Do not apply to connected electrical equipment or hot surfaces.
• Do not use near open flames or during work that generates sparks (welding, cutting, grinding).
• Do not use on surfaces in direct contact with food unless explicitly indicated and rinsed afterwards.
• Do not use on skin, delicate textiles or sensitive materials without having checked compatibility.
• People with asthma, skin allergies or sensitivity to odours should take extra precautions and limit exposure.
• Do not mix different types or brands of cleaners or reuse containers for other products.
