Nappy Bin Refills
Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Suffocation hazard from the bag or plastic film; always keep out of the reach of babies and children.
- Possible contact with biological waste when handling used nappies, with a risk of contamination and unpleasant odours.
- Minor cuts from brushing against the cartridge edges or the bin's cutting system, if fitted.
- Tears or punctures in the film that may cause leaks and soil the surroundings.
- Pets gaining access, which may rip the bags and spread waste.
- Discomfort from odours or fragrances if the refill is perfumed or waste is left to accumulate for too long.
Safe use
- Check that the refill is compatible with your bin model before opening the packaging.
- Install the cartridge following the manufacturer's instructions, without forcing it into place and keeping fingers away from the cutter if the bin has one.
- Do not overfill the compartment; when removing, tie a firm knot to seal the bag and prevent leaks.
- Insert only nappies and soft hygiene waste; do not push in hard or sharp objects that could tear the film.
- Avoid leaving long lengths of loose film; cut them off and dispose of them immediately to reduce entanglement risks.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after handling used refills; consider gloves if contact with waste is likely.
- Replace the refill if you notice tears, loss of airtightness or a poor fit.
- If you notice discomfort from odours or fragrances, ventilate the room or switch to an unscented refill.
Storage and maintenance
- Store new refills in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent the film from degrading.
- Keep refills in their packaging until use and protect them from punctures or cuts.
- Keep cartridges and film out of the reach of children and pets.
- Clean the rim and lid of the bin with a cloth and mild cleaner when changing the refill; allow to dry before installing.
- Do not wash or immerse the refill cartridge; moisture can weaken the film.
- Seal used bags tightly before disposal to minimise leaks and odours.
Usage restrictions
- Product not intended as a toy; do not allow children to handle the film, rings or the packaging.
- Do not use the refills to store food, clothing or other items other than household hygiene waste.
- Do not place sharp or pointed objects, lit cigarette ends, chemicals or liquids in the bin.
- Do not use the refill if it shows visible damage, cracks in the cartridge or a deteriorated film.
- Always use under adult supervision during bag installation and removal, especially near babies.
- In homes with pets, keep the bin closed and the refills out of their reach.
