• Pulling on the charging cable can cause the device to fall or create a trip hazard.
• Eye strain and postural discomfort due to prolonged use or inadequate lighting.
• Possible interference with sensitive medical implants from wireless connections or case magnets.
• Risk of ingestion or choking on small accessories (e.g., memory cards, adaptors) if present.

Safe use

• Use a protective case and hold it firmly; avoid placing weight on the screen.
• Keep the device and your hands dry; do not charge or use it if it is wet.
• Charge on a stable, ventilated surface without covering the device; stop charging if you detect excessive heat, an unusual odour or strange noises.
• Use only compatible chargers and cables in good condition; avoid overloaded extension leads.
• Protect the device from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight (for example, inside a car in the sun).
• Adjust the brightness/front light according to the environment and take regular breaks to rest your eyes.
• During transport, lock the screen and place it in a case, separate from keys or sharp objects.
• Maintain a prudent distance from sensitive medical implants and avoid placing the device directly over them; disable wireless connections when necessary.

Storage and maintenance

• Store it in a cool, dry and clean place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Do not leave it inside the car for long periods, especially in extreme heat or cold.
• Clean the screen and body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not apply harsh cleaners or spray liquids directly.
• Keep the ports free of dust and moisture; do not insert objects into connectors or slots.
• If you are not using it for a while, charge it periodically to preserve the battery.
• Check cables and chargers regularly and replace any damaged items.
• Install system updates when available to improve stability and performance.

Restrictions on use

• Do not open, pierce or attempt to repair the device or the battery.
• Do not submerge it or use it in heavy rain or very humid environments, unless the model explicitly indicates water resistance.
• Do not use it while driving or during activities that require your full attention.
• Do not cover it while charging or place it on soft or flammable surfaces.
• Do not use it with wet hands, especially when connecting or disconnecting it from the mains.
• It is not a toy: keep the device, the cable and small accessories out of the reach of young children.
• On aircraft, in hospitals or other restricted spaces, disable wireless connections and follow local instructions.
• If you observe battery swelling, extreme heat or a chemical odour, stop using the device and place it on a non-flammable surface, away from combustible materials.
