- Suffocation due to improper positioning, especially in newborns, or from loose blankets and textiles covering the nose and mouth.
- Strangulation or entanglement with straps, nearby cords, blind pulls or poorly secured toy bars.
- Finger trapping in folding, reclining or locking mechanisms.
- Injury if other children push, climb on it, or if it is rocked too vigorously.
- Overheating or burns due to proximity to stoves, radiators, fireplaces or direct sunlight.
- Choking on small parts or accessories that may detach.
- Electrical or battery hazards if the compartment is opened or tampered with (on models with vibration/sound).
- Loss of stability on very thick rugs or uneven surfaces.
- Postural fatigue from prolonged use in the same position.
Safe use
- Always place the chair or rocker on the floor, firm, level and non-slip; never on tables, sofas, beds or other elevated surfaces.
- Before seating the baby, check that the frame is fully unfolded and locked, and that the non-slip feet are intact.
- Always secure the baby with the harness and adjust it so it is snug but comfortable, with no slack.
- Maintain constant supervision; never leave the baby unattended at any time.
- Do not carry or move the product with the baby inside.
- Limit continuous use and alternate with other positions to encourage movement and rest.
- Keep the face and airways clear; do not add pillows, cushions or loose blankets in the seat.
- Position the product away from edges, stairs, windows, corded blinds and electrical cables.
- If it includes vibration or sound, insert the batteries correctly, close the compartment securely and keep batteries out of the baby's reach.
- Secure toys and play arches; remove them if the baby attempts to sit up or pulls hard.
- Check before each use that there are no tears, loose parts, breaks or a damaged harness.
Storage and maintenance
- Clean fabrics and surfaces with mild products as directed by the manufacturer; dry completely before use or storage.
- Store the chair or rocker in a dry, ventilated place, away from moisture and direct heat.
- Carry out periodic checks of screws, rivets, seams, harness and non-slip feet; replace worn parts with suitable spares.
- Do not use the product if the frame is bent, cracked or loose; stop using it if its stability cannot be guaranteed.
- Lock the folding mechanisms before moving or storing to prevent accidental openings.
- If the model uses batteries, remove them if it will not be used for a prolonged period.
- After a fall or heavy impact, carefully inspect for possible damage before using again.
Use restrictions
- This is not a place for prolonged sleep; avoid using it for sleeping without supervision and do not use it as a substitute for a cot, carrycot or car seat.
- Do not use on tables, worktops, sofas, beds or chairs, nor attach it to other structures; do not use it in the bath.
- Do not use outdoors on uneven ground or near water, fireplaces, stoves or heat sources.
- Do not use if the baby exceeds the model's weight/height limits or if they can already roll over, sit unaided, pull up or stand.
- One baby at a time; do not allow other children to climb on, pull or hang from the product.
- Do not add mattresses, extra padding or accessories not designed for that model.
- Do not hang bags, blankets or heavy objects from the arch or the frame.
- Do not cover the chair with plastics, towels or thick fabrics that reduce ventilation.
- Do not use if parts are missing, if the harness does not fasten correctly or if the non-slip feet are damaged.
