Main risks
- Irritation or allergic reactions on the skin, eyes or lips (redness, itching, stinging, swelling).
- Infections due to contamination of the product or tools, especially in eye and lip make-up.
- Respiratory discomfort from accidental inhalation of powders or aerosols.
- Eye injuries caused by particles or glitter entering the eye, or by imprecise application of eyeliners and mascara.
- Fire risk when using aerosols or alcohol-based products near flames, cigarettes or heat sources.
- Worsening of skin irritation when applied to damaged skin, wounds or after recent cosmetic procedures.
- Adverse reactions from using expired products or those with changes in odour, colour or texture.
Safe use
- Check the ingredient list if you have known allergies and perform a test on a small area 24 hours beforehand, especially if you have sensitive skin.
- Wash your hands before application and use clean, dry applicators; avoid introducing water or dirty fingers into the containers.
- Do not share products or tools, especially those for eyes and lips.
- Apply with good lighting and without rushing; do not apply make-up while driving or on the move.
- Avoid contact with the inside of the eye; if it occurs, rinse with water and discontinue use if discomfort persists.
- Do not dilute or mix inside the container; use the product as supplied.
- Use powders and sprays in well-ventilated areas and avoid inhaling the product.
- Remove make-up completely before sleeping and after intense activity to minimise blockages and irritation.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged, the seal is broken, or the contents have changed in appearance or odour.
- In case of redness, stinging or swelling, discontinue use and cleanse the area with lukewarm water.
Storage and maintenance
- Keep containers tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Avoid storing them in very humid environments; moisture promotes contamination.
- Wash brushes and sponges regularly, rinse them well and allow them to dry completely before storing.
- Replace applicators and sponges when they are worn out or do not regain their shape.
- Observe the period after opening and the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
- Discard products that have dried out, separated into layers or show unusual odour, colour or texture.
- Keep aerosols and spray bottles away from high temperatures; do not pierce or burn them, even when empty.
- Avoid leaving make-up in the car or other places with extreme temperature changes.
Restrictions of use
- For external use only; do not ingest.
- Apply only to the areas for which the product is intended; do not use on internal mucous membranes or on wounds, eczema or irritated skin.
- Keep products out of reach of children; minors should use make-up only under adult supervision.
- Avoid use if you have an eye infection, conjunctivitis or cold sores until fully resolved.
- If you wear contact lenses, take extra care with hygiene when applying eye make-up and avoid loose particles or glitter near the eyeball.
- Do not share products between people, especially those for eyes and lips.
- Keep spray or alcohol-based products away from flames, cigarettes and hot appliances.
- Do not use products with tampered seals or of dubious origin.
