Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Blows and impacts to the head, eyes, fingers and joints from throws or unexpected rebounds.
  • Falls or sprains from tripping over rolling balls or due to wet or uneven surfaces.
  • Property damage to windows, furniture or vehicles if used in unsuitable areas.
  • Bursting or deformation due to overinflation, with possible ejection of the needle or the ball itself.
  • Hand and wrist injuries from using inappropriate sizes/weights or excessive hardness.
  • Cuts or punctures from valves, inflation needles or abrasive surfaces.
  • Choking hazard for young children with small balls or loose parts.

Safe use

  • Choose the size and weight appropriate for the age, height and sport to maintain control and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Inflate with an appropriate pump and needle to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer; avoid overinflation and underinflation.
  • During inflation, keep the ball away from your face and any hands not involved; lightly moisten the needle to avoid damaging the valve.
  • Before each use, check for cuts, cracks, air loss, loose seams or a loose valve; do not use the product if it shows defects.
  • Use the ball in open, clear areas, away from traffic, windows and bystanders.
  • Keep the area dry and clean; remove objects with sharp edges that could puncture or deflect the ball.
  • Maintain safe distances and avoid throwing at the face at close range; announce your throws in team sports.
  • Keep needles and pumps out of the play area and protect them with their caps to prevent punctures.
  • Wear footwear suitable for the playing surface to improve grip and reduce slips.
  • In sports that require it, use appropriate protection (e.g., sports goggles, specialist gloves).

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water; avoid solvents, abrasive products and washing machines/tumble dryers.
  • Dry completely before storing to prevent moisture, mould and material deterioration.
  • Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and extreme cold; do not leave it inside a car in the sun.
  • Avoid placing prolonged weight on the ball or stacking it in a way that causes deformation.
  • Keep the ball at the recommended inflation level and check it periodically.
  • Keep it away from rough or sharp surfaces that could wear it down or puncture it.
  • Do not hang the ball by the valve or pull on it.

Restrictions of use

  • Not suitable for young children when dealing with small-sized balls; keep needles, caps and loose parts out of their reach.
  • Do not use the ball in enclosed spaces if there is a risk of hitting fragile objects or nearby people.
  • Do not modify the product or use adhesives, oils or substances not specified by the manufacturer.
  • Avoid surfaces with stones, metal or sharp elements that could puncture it.
  • Do not use very heavy balls or strength-training balls without sufficient space and control of movement.
  • Do not use the ball as a seat or platform unless it is clearly designed for that purpose.
  • If the ball is damaged, continuously loses air or has burst, stop using it and replace it.
