Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Cuts or scratches when handling sheet metal, edges or fixings.
- Trapped fingers when fitting or removing panels, covers and drive bays.
- Shattering of toughened glass panels with possible flying shards.
- Tipping or dropping the chassis when moving it or placing it on unstable surfaces; increased risk due to its weight.
- Overheating due to blocked grilles, poor ventilation or dust build-up, with possible damage to internal components.
- Injury from contact with moving fans or from cables getting into the blades.
- Damage to components from static electricity during assembly or internal maintenance.
- Damage from liquid spills on the chassis or through the openings.
Safe use
- Always work with the system switched off and unplugged from the mains before opening the chassis or handling the interior.
- Place the chassis on a flat, stable surface with clear space around it to ensure good airflow.
- Handle panels with both hands; hold the glass by the edges and avoid knocks or twisting. Remove the glass panel before moving the system.
- Do not block grilles or filters. Keep fan areas and air outlets clear.
- Route and secure cabling so it cannot rub against fans or obstruct airflow.
- Secure fans, filters and included accessories following the manufacturer's instructions. Do not touch the blades when the system is switched on.
- Avoid placing drinks or other liquids on the chassis. If liquid is spilled, switch off and unplug, dry completely and ensure there is no moisture before using again.
- Reduce static electricity by working on a non-conductive surface and grounding yourself before touching internal components.
- Observe the space and compatibility limitations specified by the chassis manufacturer to avoid interference or undue pressure on components.
Storage and maintenance
- Store and use the chassis in dry, well-ventilated places, away from sources of heat, humidity and excessive dust.
- For transport, use the original packaging or equivalent padding. Remove or protect the glass panels to prevent impacts.
- Do not stack heavy objects on the chassis or sit on it.
- Clean filters and grilles periodically to maintain good airflow. Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
- Use low-pressure air or a soft brush to remove dust. Hold the fans while cleaning to prevent them from spinning excessively.
- Clean surfaces with a soft, dry cloth or one that is slightly damp. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage paintwork, plastics or the glass.
- Check screws, fixings and feet regularly; tighten if you detect any play and replace damaged parts.
Restrictions on use
- Not intended for use by children. Contains small parts, heavy panels and edges that require adult handling.
- Do not use the chassis outdoors or in environments with high humidity, steam, grease or industrial dust.
- Do not modify the chassis structure (drilling, cutting, altering supports or mounts) or force the installation of components that do not fit.
- Do not cover the chassis with fabrics or enclose it in furniture without sufficient ventilation.
- Do not place heavy objects or equipment on the top of the chassis and do not lean on the glass panel.
- Do not use the product if any glass panel is cracked, if there are structural deformations or loose parts.
- Do not overload included hubs, ports or controllers with more devices than specified by their manufacturer.
