Warnings and safety precautions
Main risks
- Choking on small parts (rings, beads, caps, clips and other accessories).
- Tipping of the dressing table or stool and falls if children climb on or put their weight on them.
- Finger trapping in drawers, doors or hinges.
- Cuts or scrapes from damaged edges or broken parts, including the mirror if it shatters.
- Unwanted contact with eyes and mouth when using toy make-up; possible irritation on sensitive skin.
- Hazard from cords, necklaces or ribbons if they become wrapped around the neck.
- If the set includes lights or sound: battery risks (ingestion of button batteries, leakage or overheating).
Safe use
- Assembly and initial check by an adult; ensure all joints are secure and stable.
- Place the dressing table on a flat surface, away from edges and walkways. If the model includes fixing systems, use them as per the instructions.
- Teach children not to climb, hang or push on the furniture. Always sit properly on the stool, one at a time.
- Keep small parts and accessories out of reach of children under 3 years. Put away loose items after each use.
- Open and close drawers or doors slowly to avoid pinches; preferably one at a time to reduce the risk of tipping.
- If toy make-up is included, avoid eyes, mouth and irritated areas. Carry out a small patch test on the skin and wash hands and face after play.
- Do not use real sharp or hot objects (scissors, curling tongs, hairdryers) with the toy dressing table.
- If battery-operated, check that the compartment is securely closed; use the specified type and polarity and do not mix new and used batteries.
Storage and maintenance
- Store the set indoors, in a dry place away from heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Keep accessories together in boxes or resealable bags out of reach of young children. Avoid leaving loose plastic bags within reach.
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards. Avoid abrasive products that could damage surfaces or mirrors.
- Periodically check screws, joints, legs, stool and mirror. Remove or safely repair any loose, broken or splintered parts.
- Discard and replace damaged parts with compatible ones before using the toy again.
- If it uses batteries, remove them when they are depleted or if it will not be used for a prolonged period and store them out of the reach of children.
Restrictions of use
- Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts, unless otherwise stated on the product.
- Indoor domestic use only. Do not use in the bath, pool or outdoors.
- Adult supervision required with young children or when several children are playing at the same time.
- Do not stand on the dressing table or use the drawers as a step. The stool, if present, is for one person to sit on only.
- Do not hang from the mirror or the tabletop, or drag the furniture across the floor during play.
- Do not combine with real cosmetics, solvents, hairsprays or nail polish removers, or with electrical heating appliances.
- Stop using the product if it shows instability, significant looseness or broken parts.
