Main risks

• Ignition of synthetic materials if exposed to open flames or high temperatures.
• Tipping or falling of pots and tall arrangements, with a risk of injury or breakage.
• Tripping hazards from placing pots in walkways or from poorly positioned fixings.
• Cuts or punctures when shaping stems that may contain internal wires or rigid edges.
• Accidental ingestion of small parts, decorative fruits or filler pebbles by children and pets.
• Irritation from accumulated dust or residual odours from newly opened packaging.
• Stains on floors or furniture from dyes that may bleed if wet or through prolonged contact.

Safe use

• Place away from fireplaces, heaters, barbecues, candles and other sources of heat or sparks.
• Position on flat, stable surfaces; for tall pieces, weight the base or secure it to prevent tipping.
• Avoid obstructing walkways, doors or exits; leave sufficient space around.
• For hanging installations, use fixings suitable for the wall or ceiling type and regularly check they are secure.
• Handle leaves and stems gently; wear gloves when shaping or cutting and keep fingers away from the cutting area.
• If decorative lights are used, choose low-heat models and follow their instructions; switch off when unattended.
• Remove and dispose of the packaging immediately to prevent suffocation or accidental ingestion of plastics and cable ties.

Storage and maintenance

• Dust with a soft cloth or brush; for spot soiling, use a slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards.
• Avoid bleach, solvents and abrasive scourers that may discolour or damage surfaces.
• Outdoors, shelter during periods of strong wind or heavy rain and check for any looseness, deterioration or discolouration.
• Keep away from persistent moisture that may damage bases or cause slips from dripping.
• Store in a dry, ventilated place out of direct sunlight; do not compress or stack in a way that deforms leaves or flowers.
• Fit protectors to the base if placed on delicate surfaces and periodically check stability and fixings.

Restrictions of use

• Decorative use only; not a toy and not for chewing.
• Keep out of reach of small children and pets or under supervision when within reach.
• Do not place on railings, windowsills or unstable high points from which they could fall.
• Do not place in evacuation routes, narrow stairways or near combustion appliances.
• Do not place in aquariums, fish tanks or animal cages.
• Do not use to support other objects, to climb or to sit on.
• Remove and replace if cracks, exposed wires, loose parts or extreme discolouration appear that compromise the integrity of the piece.
