Main risks

• Irritation, redness or allergic skin reactions in people sensitive to certain ingredients.
• Photosensitivity in some formulas if exposed to the sun after application.
• Discomfort from accidental contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Risk of accidental ingestion, especially in children and pets.
• Flammability of certain oils near flames, candles, cigarettes or hot appliances.
• Slippery surfaces due to spills, with a risk of falls.
• Persistent stains on clothing, towels or furnishings.
• Product deterioration due to poor storage (changes in smell, colour or texture).

Safe use

• Read and follow the instructions on the packaging; apply the recommended amount at the suggested frequency.
• Perform a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours beforehand, especially if you have sensitive skin.
• Avoid applying to open wounds, very irritated skin or freshly shaved or waxed skin unless the product indicates otherwise.
• Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes; in case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Wash hands before and after use; if the product comes in a jar, avoid dipping wet fingers inside and use a clean spatula if possible.
• Do not heat oils directly or in a microwave; if you wish to warm them, rub them between your hands or follow the manufacturer's instructions.
• Keep oils away from heat sources and open flames during use.
• Avoid combining multiple exfoliating products or potent treatments on the same area if you are unsure of their compatibility.
• If the formula may be photosensitising, limit sun exposure after application and use sun protection as recommended.
• Clean up any spills immediately and remove excess from the skin to reduce the risk of stains and slips.

Storage and maintenance

• Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
• Close the container tightly after each use and avoid water getting inside (for example, in the shower).
• Keep containers clean and dry on the outside to prevent them slipping from your hands.
• Observe the expiry date and the period after opening indicated on the packaging.
• Do not decant into unclean containers or mix leftovers from different products.
• Dispose of the product if you notice abnormal changes in smell, colour or texture.

Restrictions of use

• For external use only; do not ingest or directly inhale concentrated oils.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use if you know you are allergic to any of its ingredients; check the list on the packaging before use.
• For very sensitive skin, in minors, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding, choose gentle products and avoid formulas with strong fragrances or concentrated essential oils.
• Do not apply to intimate areas or mucous membranes unless the product is specifically indicated for this; if you are breastfeeding, avoid application to nipples and areolas.
• Avoid using oils near flames, candles or hot appliances, and do not perform massages on surfaces where oil could cause slipping.
