Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Falls from height or from loss of balance on swings, slides and climbing areas.
  • Injuries from impact with moving seats or collisions between children in the play area.
  • Tipping or movement of the set if it is not correctly anchored or levelled.
  • Entrapment of fingers, head or clothing in gaps, chains, carabiners or between moving parts.
  • Strangulation or entanglement with ropes, clothing drawstrings, scarves or necklaces.
  • Slips on wet, icy or surfaces with accumulated sand or mud.
  • Burns from sun-heated surfaces (metal or plastic).
  • Splinters, cuts or detachment of small parts due to wear, corrosion or deteriorated wood.

Safe use

  • Assemble and anchor according to the product instructions and check stability before first use.
  • Constant adult supervision, especially with young children; establish turn-taking and rules for use.
  • Check before each use that there is no looseness, cracks, rust, splinters, or protruding screws or caps.
  • Install and use on a level, impact-absorbing surface; keep the surroundings free of walls, fences, furniture, stones and branches.
  • Teach correct use: one child per seat, seated and holding on with both hands; do not stand up, do not jump while in motion and wait for the swing to stop before getting on or off.
  • Keep out of the swing's path; do not pass in front of or behind moving seats.
  • Do not add ropes, knots, homemade seats or accessories not intended; remove loose or damaged ropes.
  • Appropriate clothing: avoid long drawstrings, scarves, necklaces and loose garments; wear closed footwear with a non-slip sole.
  • Avoid use in heavy rain, strong wind, ice or extreme heat; check the temperature of surfaces exposed to the sun.

Storage and maintenance

  • Periodic inspection of the entire structure: joints, chains, carabiners, seats, rungs and slides; retighten fixings and replace worn parts with compatible spares.
  • Check and reinforce ground anchors regularly, especially after storms or frosts.
  • Remove splinters and sharp edges; clean off dirt that reduces grip (moss, mud) and keep the fall zone free of hard objects.
  • Dry seats and slides after rain; remove standing water and ice to prevent slips and corrosion.
  • In periods of inactivity or prolonged bad weather, cover the structure where possible and store movable or soft accessories.
  • For portable structures, dismantle or secure in the event of forecast strong winds.

Usage restrictions

  • Observe the age and weight ranges indicated for each component; do not mix very different ages on the same component.
  • Only one child per seat or climbing section where intended; do not swing multiple people at the same time.
  • Do not wear cycle helmets or other items with straps, or garments with long cords while playing.
  • Do not modify the structure or drill, cut or replace parts with improvised ones.
  • Do not install or use on hard surfaces such as concrete without an adequate impact-absorbing area around it.
  • Do not hang hammocks, additional ropes, punch bags or other objects from the frame.
  • Keep pets, bicycles and wheeled toys out of the swing's path.
