Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Tipping over due to poorly distributed weight or climbing on the furniture.
- Cuts from edges, splinters or broken mirror/glass.
- Finger trapping in drawers and runners.
- Objects falling from the tabletop or the mirror detaching if not securely fixed.
- Injuries when assembling, lifting or moving heavy parts.
- Burns or fire from heated tools (hair straightener/curler) or candles.
- Risk of electric shock and trip hazards from cables if the model includes lighting or sockets.
- Flammability and staining from spills of nail polish remover, aerosols or perfumes.
Safe use
- Assemble the dressing table following the manufacturer's instructions and by adults; use two people to lift large pieces or the mirror.
- Place the unit on a level floor and, if supplied, fit the anti-tip system to secure it to the wall.
- Distribute the weight: store heavy items in lower drawers and do not overload the tabletop; open one drawer at a time.
- Keep away from sources of heat and moisture; use heat-resistant mats for hot tools and allow them to cool before storing.
- Manage cables so they do not run across walkways; unplug appliances and the lighting (if present) when not in use.
- Handle the mirror with both hands and periodically check its fixings; do not lean on it or hang from it.
- Place glass bottles and cosmetics away from edges; clean up any spills immediately to prevent slips and damage to the finish.
- Do not modify the structure or drill into critical parts; tighten loose fittings when necessary.
Storage and maintenance
- For use indoors in a dry, stable environment; avoid direct exposure to water, condensation and intense heat sources or prolonged direct sunlight.
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards; avoid abrasives, strong solvents or ammonia that may damage finishes and mirrors.
- Protect the surface with mats when using cosmetics, perfumes or heated tools.
- Periodically check and re-tighten screws, handles, drawer runners and wall anchors; replace damaged parts.
- If the mirror or any glass cracks, stop using it until it is replaced to prevent cuts.
- If the model includes lighting, disconnect it before cleaning and do not handle internal electrical components.
- To move the unit, empty the drawers, remove the mirror if detachable and carry it between two people, protecting corners and edges.
Restrictions on use
- For domestic indoor use only; do not use as a step, bench or platform to stand on.
- Do not allow children to climb on or play with the dressing table; keep tempting items off the top.
- Do not exceed the maximum loads specified by the manufacturer and avoid opening several drawers at once.
- Keep flammable products (nail polish remover, aerosols, perfumes) away from heat sources and keep the containers tightly closed.
- Avoid placing it in narrow walkways where it could block exits or cause trips with cables.
- Supervise children when they use drawers, mirrors or nearby electrical devices; keep scissors, blades and sharp objects out of their reach.
