Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Finger entrapment between the door panels, at the sides of the cabinet, or in the tracks during opening and closing.
- Door dropping or derailing due to incorrect installation, impacts, or overloading the system with door panels heavier than specified.
- Accidental impacts when people or pets cross paths with moving doors.
- Furniture instability if the door panels are heavy and the cabinet is not correctly levelled or secured as indicated by the manufacturer.
- Cuts from sharp profile edges or from glass/mirror panels, where present.
- Jamming, accelerated wear and noise caused by dirt or objects in the tracks and rollers.
Safe use
- Read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, observing the specified compatibilities for weight, dimensions and door type.
- Operate the door panels using the handles or designated areas, keeping fingers away from joints and tracks.
- Open and close smoothly and in a controlled manner; do not force it if it jams or hit the sides.
- After installation, check that the door panels travel straight, run correctly on the tracks, and that the stops and anti-derailment systems are fitted if the model includes them.
- During assembly, use appropriate tools and basic protection (gloves and safety glasses). Keep small parts out of the reach of children and pets.
- If the panel is glass or mirror, handle it with care, protect the edges and avoid resting weight on the corners.
- Do not hang from, climb on or use the doors for support; avoid adding extra loads (heavy bags, unspecified accessories) to the profiles.
- Ensure the cabinet’s stability: level it and, if indicated by the furniture manufacturer, secure it to the wall. Distribute the internal load to reduce the risk of toppling.
Storage and maintenance
- Before installation, store fittings and fixings in a dry, organised place, out of the reach of children.
- Protect the door panels against impacts and scratches. Keep them supported securely; if they are glass/mirror, store them vertically with edge protection.
- Clean the tracks and running areas periodically to remove dust, grit, hair or objects. Avoid abrasive products or lubricants not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Regularly check screw tightness and the condition of rollers, tracks and stops. Replace worn parts with compatible spares from the manufacturer.
- Perform alignment or height adjustments only according to the manufacturer’s instructions, without forcing adjustment screws.
- If you notice unusual noises, rubbing, play or difficulty in movement, stop using the door until the problem has been inspected and corrected.
Restrictions of use
- Recommended for indoor use and in dry or temperate environments, unless otherwise expressly indicated for the product.
- Do not use the system with doors whose weight, thickness or material exceed the hardware manufacturer’s specifications.
- Do not mix components from different systems or brands; use only compatible parts and fixings intended for that model.
- Do not modify, drill or cut tracks, carriages or profiles beyond what is specified in the instructions.
- Do not allow children to play with sliding doors; supervision is required in homes with children or people with reduced mobility.
- Do not install the system on damaged, out-of-level furniture or with loose fixings, nor on damp or corroded surfaces.
