Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Contact with open flames or intense heat: the fabric may ignite or melt, posing a burn risk.
  • Detachment of embellishments, sequins or decorative buttons: possible ingestion or choking hazard for children and pets.
  • Skin irritation from dyes, finishes or labels; chafing with prolonged wear or when sweating.
  • Colour transfer in the first washes or when the garment is damp, especially with intense colours.
  • Burns when ironing or using steamers; damage to prints if direct heat is applied.
  • Suffocation from improper use of packaging bags by children.

Safe use

  • Always follow the care label on each garment.
  • Wash the T-shirt before first use and with similar colours; turn it inside out to protect prints.
  • Keep the garment away from open flames, embers, stoves and sources of sparks.
  • Do not iron directly over prints, vinyl or appliqués; use a low temperature and, if appropriate, a pressing cloth.
  • Check seams and embellishments before use; if there are loose parts, repair them or avoid use by children until fixed.
  • Choose a size that allows good movement and ventilation to reduce heat and chafing.
  • Remove and dispose of the packaging carefully; keep bags out of the reach of children.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store the garment clean and completely dry in a cool, ventilated place; do not store it damp or in airtight bags.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to reduce fading.
  • Fold or hang on hangers with rounded edges to prevent distortion at the neck and shoulders, as appropriate for the fabric.
  • Use gentle cycles and suitable detergents; avoid bleach and fabric conditioners if not recommended on the label.
  • Air dry in the shade when possible; use a tumble dryer only if indicated and at a low temperature.
  • Periodically check seams and appliqués; repair or remove damaged components to prevent snags.
  • Avoid continuous friction with rough surfaces, zips or hook-and-loop fasteners that may cause snags or pilling.

Restrictions on use

  • Does not replace technical or protective clothing; do not use as a flame-resistant, high-visibility or safety garment.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years if it includes small parts, detachable appliqués or decorative cords.
  • Avoid children wearing T-shirts with cords or drawstrings during play or in areas where they could snag.
  • Do not use near sources of ignition (candles, barbecues, firecrackers) or for handling fireworks.
  • Do not wear or iron the garment if it is soaked with flammable products such as alcohols, solvents or aerosols.
  • Do not wear the T-shirt if it has tears or loose threads that could catch on machinery, doors or furniture.
