Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Falls and bumps from using the tunnel on uneven surfaces or near furniture and stairs.
  • Tripping hazards if the tunnel encroaches on walkways.
  • Finger trapping or pinching during the opening and folding of self‑opening pop‑up structures.
  • Cuts or scratches from broken rods or worn edges that protrude.
  • Suffocation or distress if exits are blocked or ventilation is lacking.
  • Strangulation from cords, ties or loose accessories.
  • Fire risk if placed near flames or heat sources.
  • Suffocation hazard from packaging bags or film.

Safe use

  • Follow the manufacturer’s recommended age and limit the number of children to the stated capacity.
  • Place the tunnel on a flat, clean, unobstructed surface, away from stairs, doors and walkways.
  • Always keep at least one opening clear; do not close both ends during play.
  • Open and fold the structure away from your face and from children to avoid sudden openings.
  • Check seams, mesh and rods before each use; do not use the product if there are tears or loose parts.
  • Avoid rough play: do not climb on, sit on or hang from the tunnel.
  • Remove hard or sharp objects and accessories with long cords from inside.
  • If used outdoors, avoid strong winds and secure the tunnel only if the model allows it.
  • Keep pets away during play to prevent tears.
  • Encourage orderly entries and exits to reduce collisions between children.

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive products.
  • Dry completely before storing to prevent mould and odours.
  • Store in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Do not place weight on top of the folded tunnel; secure it to prevent sudden openings.
  • Inspect seams, mesh and rods periodically; remove the product from use if there are deformations, sharp points or exposed wires.
  • Air it out after unpacking to dissipate any manufacturing odours.
  • Keep accessories and small parts (if included) out of children’s reach when not in use.
  • Dispose of bags and packaging materials safely.
