Main risks

  • Tipping over or shifting of the playhouse if it is pushed, climbed on, or used for support.
  • Finger trapping in doors, windows, zips or Velcro fastenings.
  • Falls when trying to climb onto the roof or sides, or using the playhouse as a ladder or furniture.
  • Strangulation or entanglement from cords, ties, decorative ribbons or added garlands.
  • Suffocation from packaging bags and from small loose or detached parts.
  • Fire or burn risk if placed near radiators, heaters, fireplaces or candles.
  • Insufficient ventilation in closed models if openings are blocked.
  • Bumps against walls, furniture or corners if the play area is not clear.

Safe use

  • Assembly and initial inspection by an adult; remove and dispose of packaging immediately, out of children's reach.
  • Place the playhouse on a flat, clean, stable surface; use a rug or non-slip base if the floor is slippery.
  • Leave clear space around it for comfortable entry and exit and to avoid collisions with furniture or doorways.
  • Keep the playhouse away from stairs, windows, cables, accessible sockets and heat sources.
  • Ensure that doors and windows open without sticking and that ventilation openings are not covered.
  • Check before each use that the joints, poles, screws and connectors are securely fastened and that there are no exposed points.
  • Limit occupancy and vigorous play according to the size of the model; do not allow climbing, hanging from, or pushing the structure.
  • Use only child-safe accessories without long cords; avoid lights or garlands that become hot.
  • Close adult supervision during play, especially with young children.

Storage and maintenance

  • Periodically inspect seams, panels, poles and fastenings; replace damaged parts before using again.
  • Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap; dry completely to prevent mould or odours.
  • If it gets wet, air it out and allow to air-dry before folding or storing.
  • Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve the materials.
  • Keep screws, poles, carry bags and small parts out of reach of children.
  • Do not use the playhouse if it shows breaks, deformation, exposed poles or instability; remove it from use until repaired or replaced.

Restrictions of use

  • For indoor use only; not suitable for outdoor use or elevated surfaces.
  • Observe the age and weight limits recommended by the manufacturer; limit the number of children at one time.
  • Not suitable for children under 36 months if the model includes small parts, long cords or removable parts.
  • Not a climbing frame, cot or place for prolonged rest; do not leave children sleeping inside without supervision.
  • Do not use near flames, candles, radiators, heaters or other heat sources.
  • Do not add ropes, carabiners, nets or items that could cause entanglement or overload the structure.
  • Do not use if parts or specific instructions for the model are missing.
