Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Small detachable parts posing a choking hazard to young children.
  • Magnets and magnetic components that, if detached, can be dangerous if swallowed.
  • Hard edges or broken parts that may cause cuts or scratches.
  • Launch mechanisms, springs or ramps that can pinch fingers or propel parts at high speed.
  • Electrical elements and batteries (including button batteries): risk of overheating, leakage or chemical burns.
  • Cords, cables or long straps with a risk of entanglement or strangulation.
  • Tipping over or falling of structures (ramps, stands) if placed on unstable surfaces or near edges.
  • Adhesives, paints or solvents in some kits that may irritate skin or eyes.

Safe use

  • Follow the manufacturer's recommended age and the required skill level for assembly.
  • Assemble and adjust the accessories according to the instructions; check that joints and fixings are secure before play.
  • Use ramps, tracks and launchers on flat, clear surfaces and away from table edges and stairs.
  • Do not aim vehicles or projectiles at people, pets or windows; keep your face and hands away from launch points.
  • Do not stand or sit on ramps, tracks or supports: they are designed for toys, not to bear weight.
  • If the accessory includes magnets, ensure they are securely fixed; stop using the product if you detect any loose magnets.
  • With electrical components: use only the specified battery type, observe the polarity, do not mix new and used batteries or different brands, and do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • During charging or heavy use, monitor the temperature; discontinue use if there is odour, smoke or abnormal heating.
  • Keep button batteries and very small parts out of reach of young children; ensure the battery compartment cover is screwed shut.
  • Apply stickers or paints in well-ventilated areas and avoid contact with skin, eyes or mouth.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store small parts, magnets and batteries in closed containers and out of reach of children and pets.
  • Keep accessories clean and dry; remove dust and grit that could jam mechanisms or accelerate wear.
  • Periodically check screws, clips and fittings; replace damaged or loose parts.
  • Remove the batteries if the item will not be used for an extended period; store them in their packaging, in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid exposure to direct heat, prolonged intense sunlight or excessive moisture.
  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive products or strong solvents.
  • Coil and store cables without knots; protect connectors and chargers from tugs and crushing.

Usage restrictions

  • Many accessories contain small parts: keep them out of reach of children under 36 months and use with supervision appropriate to the child's age.
  • Not suitable for food use or as spare parts for products other than toys.
  • Do not use accessories that are damaged, have loose parts, detached magnets or missing battery covers.
  • Do not combine accessories from incompatible systems if this could leave unstable connections or create pinch points.
  • Avoid use near traffic, steps, cookers, swimming pools or elevated surfaces from which they could fall.
  • If the accessory incorporates strong magnets, keep it away from implanted medical devices and magnetic data storage media.
  • Do not allow children to handle chargers, cables or batteries without adult supervision.
