  • Tipping, shifting or accidental folding of the table; possible trapping in the legs and hinges.
  • Falls from tripping over cues, balls or other accessories on the floor.
  • Choking or accidental ingestion of small parts such as chalk, cue tips or fasteners.
  • Eye or respiratory irritation from chalk dust.
  • Damage to floors and carpets due to the weight or from dragging the table.
  • Bumps to walls or furniture due to insufficient space around the table.
  • Cuts or splinters from damaged cues.

Safe use

  • Assemble and level the table according to the product instructions; move or rotate it with two people.
  • Place on a firm surface and leave clear space around it to manoeuvre cues without obstruction.
  • Before playing, check that the legs, locks and ball return are securely fastened.
  • Keep hands and face out of the path of shots; do not take a shot if anyone is near the line of play.
  • Use cues and balls in good condition; replace loose or heavily worn tips.
  • Pick up balls that fall to the floor immediately and keep the area clear.
  • Do not sit, stand or lean your weight on the table or the cushions.
  • Avoid placing drinks or food on the cloth; clean any spill promptly and safely.
  • On folding tables, engage the locks before playing and do not operate the mechanisms during play.
  • With children, encourage gentle play and use accessories suited to their height where possible.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store balls, chalk and small accessories in a case or drawer, out of reach of young children.
  • Protect the table with a cover when not in use and keep it away from direct heat and excessive humidity.
  • Brush the cloth gently; avoid abrasive products and excess water. Dry if it gets wet.
  • Clean the balls and triangle with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
  • Periodically check screws, levellers, legs and nets/ball return; retighten if necessary without overtightening.
  • Ensure cues have no splinters or loose tips; repair or replace if they show damage.
  • Store cues in a stable rack, upright, away from heat sources and humidity to prevent warping.
  • On folding tables, close and open gently, secure the locks and move with two people holding at sturdy points.
  • Keep the area dry and well-ventilated to prevent warping of the playing surface and mould on the cloth.

Restrictions on use

  • Not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts; with older children, play under adult supervision.
  • For indoor use unless specifically indicated by the product; avoid rain, splashes and prolonged sun exposure.
  • Do not use if there are loose or broken parts, or if the table is unstable.
  • Avoid extremely hard shots or throwing balls into the air, which could cause injury or damage the equipment.
  • Do not use cues, balls or accessories that are not the correct size for the table.
  • Do not place the table near staircases, narrow doorways or edges with a drop.
  • Do not drag the table to move it; lift it with several people or use suitable equipment.
  • Keep pets and babies away from the playing area.
