Safety warnings and precautions
Key risks
- Tipping or collapse of folding tables due to incorrect assembly or overloading.
- Finger entrapment in hinges and folding mechanisms.
- Slippage of overlay boards (toppers) on smooth surfaces.
- Drink spills that damage the mat and may cause slips around the area.
- Edges, protruding screws or metal cup holders that may cause minor cuts or snags.
- Small parts (chips, buttons, markers) posing a choking hazard to children.
- Bumps or trips over legs, corners or accessories on the floor during play.
- Electrical risk or overheating in automatic card shufflers or other battery- or mains-powered accessories if used improperly.
Safe use
- Assemble and unfold the table on a firm, level surface; check that the legs and locks are securely fastened.
- Do not sit, stand or lean your body weight on the tabletop; avoid concentrated loads.
- For toppers, use non-slip stoppers or mats and centre the board on the base table.
- Place drinks in cup holders and wipe up spills immediately; avoid placing very hot containers directly on the mat.
- Organise chips and cards on the table to prevent them falling; pick up any item that drops to the floor immediately.
- When folding or unfolding, keep hands away from hinges and pinch points; for heavy tables, carry out the manoeuvre with two people.
- Automatic shufflers: use the type of batteries/cable specified for the product, do not insert objects other than cards, do not cover slots and disconnect when not in use.
- Stop use if you detect loose parts, instability, unusual noises or visible damage.
- If children are present, keep small parts out of their reach and supervise throughout the game.
Storage and maintenance
- Store in a dry, ventilated place, away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent warping and discolouration of the mat.
- Close and secure folding tables before moving or storing them; use a protective cover if available.
- Do not stack heavy objects on the tabletop or mat; store in a stable position to avoid straining the legs.
- Clean the cloth/felt with a soft brush or dry cloth; for stains, use a slightly damp cloth and dry without excessive rubbing. Avoid abrasive products and excess water.
- Clean chips, cup holders and accessories with a damp cloth and dry completely before storing.
- Periodically check screws, non-slip stoppers, legs and cup holders; retighten or replace worn or damaged parts.
- Remove batteries from accessories if they will not be used for a prolonged period; keep them out of reach of children and avoid short circuits.
- Protect cables and plugs from pulls, kinks or pinching under the legs.
Usage restrictions
- Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts; older children should always play under adult supervision.
- Intended primarily for indoor use; avoid exposure to rain, humidity or wind that could move the board or damage the mat.
- Do not use as a seat, step or support for heavy loads.
- Do not move the table with chips, cards or drinks on top; remove accessories before moving it.
- Do not use if screws or stoppers are missing, or if there are cracks, excessive play, or the cloth is lifting.
- Do not place hot, sharp or burning objects on the tabletop or mat.
- Do not modify, drill or add accessories not intended for the product.
- For electrical accessories, do not use with wet hands or near water.
