- Cuts from edges, fittings or panels during unpacking and assembly.
- Overloading of shelves and drawers with possible breakage and falling objects.
- Fire risk or deterioration due to combustible materials being too close to hobs, ovens or other heat sources.
- Water and steam damage in sink or cooking areas that may weaken the unit.
- Hazards in connections of integrated appliances (electricity, gas, water) if carried out improperly.
- Trips and falls due to cables, packaging and loose parts in the work area.
Safe use
- Review and follow the manufacturer’s instructions before installing or using the units.
- Handle packages and worktops with two people and gloves; do not lift by doors or handles.
- Anchor to the wall and/or floor any furniture that requires it and install the supplied anti-tip devices.
- Check the units are level before placing the worktop and tighten fixings without forcing.
- Respect clearances and protections around ovens, hobs and other heat sources; keep combustible materials away.
- Use trivets and chopping boards; do not place very hot pans or cut directly on the worktop.
- Distribute weight: place heavy items in base units and near the hinge side; avoid overloading wide drawers.
- Close doors and drawers gently and keep runners and hinges free of objects to prevent entrapment.
- Have qualified professionals carry out electricity, gas, water and extraction connections, keeping ventilation openings clear.
- During assembly, keep the area tidy, well lit and free of obstacles, removing plastics and packaging waste.
Storage and maintenance
- Before installation, store the units in a dry, ventilated place, on a flat surface and without unstable stacking.
- Protect panels and edges from impacts and moisture; do not expose packages to rain or direct heat sources.
- Wipe up spills of water, oils or cleaners immediately, especially at joints, edges and around the sink.
- Clean with soft cloths and neutral detergents; avoid abrasives, metal scourers and harsh products unless recommended.
- Periodically check fixings, fittings, adjustable legs and anti-tip devices; retighten if necessary.
- Check and renew seals and silicone on worktops and sinks when they deteriorate to prevent leaks.
- Ventilate the kitchen to reduce condensation; keep grilles and ventilation openings clear.
- If swelling, breakages or loss of screw grip are observed, stop using the affected unit until it is repaired or replaced.
Restrictions of use
- For domestic indoor use; do not install outdoors or in areas with extreme humidity without specific solutions.
- Do not stand, sit or hang on worktops, drawers, doors or handles; do not use the furniture as a ladder or scaffold.
- Do not move installed units with the worktop fitted without first emptying them and dismantling what is necessary.
- Do not drill, cut or modify the structure other than at the points provided by the manufacturer.
- Do not store flammable substances, solvents or gas cylinders next to ovens, hobs or heat sources.
- Keep knives, cleaning products and small appliances out of the reach of children; use safety locks where appropriate.
- Do not exceed the maximum loads indicated for shelves, drawers and wall units.
- Avoid covering or blocking the air outlets of ovens, fridges or cooker hoods integrated into the furniture.
